Do you have the full size Pro model? Do you find the trigger worth the additional cost over the standard PDP?

In the market for a carry optics/service pistol. PDP felt great in my hand, trigger was okay. Spoiled from 2011 platform I guess. Did some research and found the Pro model. Like the idea of a better trigger and ability to run it suppressed. Unfortunately none can be found local to see if the trigger is really worth the extra cost. Anyone have hands on experience with the Pro model? Everyone running the full size or the compact?

From what I understand there are two models and one does keep the rear sight on.

I see Canik has released the Rival here in the states. Has anyone actually received one to try yet? I have seen a couple of YouTube reviews but nobody I know has seen one in person. Looks like a really decent gun for the money.

Took my 7 year old son shooting with his new Cricket 22 rifle. Absolutely the most fun I have ever had at the range. Can't wait to take him again. Definitely a proud dad moment.

Received the Vedder Light Tuck and have been using it the last couple of days. Extremely comfortable and great retention. Claw really helps with concealment. Thanks for the recommendation.

I have started to see complete serialized factory guns recently online for around $500. All have been the full size version but that seemed fairly cheap. Maybe cheaper than building one?

Yes they lock in and drop free in my SAS II Tactical Commander.

I gave up trying to make STI factory mags work and switched to MBX mags and they have all worked for me. I understand the new Gen 2 STI mags are supposed to be better though but I don't want to risk it. Good luck with your"s and enjoy the new gun.

I think they may take the place of STi for factory comp guns at a reasonable price point now that STi went tactical. Your review certainly makes it sound like a viable alternative. Thanks for the review.

How long have you had it? How does is shoot? Where did you find one to buy? Sti mags fit? I'm in the market for a new carry gun and they look like a decent deal but I have never handled one. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I run the Metalform mags also with no problems in my Trojan. Cheap and they work.

There is a great post filled with information regarding the 15-22 in the Steel shooting portion of this forum. I would definitely check it out. As far as the 22/45 I think there pretty much ready to go as is. I have one stock and one with VQ trigger parts. The gun with the VQ trigger does feel better but my times are pretty much identical with either. Try some different set ups the guys are using at a match and see if one makes a difference for you.
