Round_Gun_Shooter
After a long summer, her suffering has ended. She was always my daughter's dog, never mine. I was one of her humans and we will all miss her. What I like is my daughter ended the suffering while the old girl still had her dignity. Her last day was spent being brushed, fed the foods she liked and could not have, all in the company of the woman(my little girl) that loved her so. You will never read this Amanda, but you know how proud I am of you. RIP Chiveau, we all will miss you Edited September 14, 2010 by Round_Gun_Shooter
Sarge
I'm so sorry for you and your daughter. My 15 year old daughter had to make the decision to put her cat down. It is heart wrenching. We all cried alot that day. I hope the pain passes quickly for everybody involved.

FranDoc
Peace to your soul, little Chiveau. And peace to those who loved you here. May you run in a place where there are no fences, no limits, no pain. May your spirit know that you were loved here, that your presence was cherished. Play on in the memories of the humans who miss you. Vaya con Dios.

rtr
RIP Chiveau, being able to let a dog go instead of selfishly keeping it alive is a tremendous gift to give your pup.

hopalong
Gary, Tears well up in my eyes still 17 years later after "Buddy". May your daughter have as many great memories as I do "Buddy". We are the lucky ones to be picked by our 4 legged friends to be "Their Humans". God Bless, Hopalong
