  1. Trace the magwell to the grip, remove magwell and file and sand to marks. I use a dremel on all my grips and never had a problem.
  2. If you are sure it is installed right, then the spring is broken. I would break the gun down and double check the slide stop is installed correct.
  3. I load 38sc had a little of the same problem. Took a dremel and roll the upper and lower edge of the shell plate at the corners where the brass goes in. Works great now no misfeeds in about 10,000 rounds
  4. Please dont force primers in the tube. They can go ff and the alum. WILL NOT contain the blast. The primers should go in and come out easy. If 1 sticks in a tube toss the tube in the trash. Be careful. Also make sure you are using the right tube. There is a small and large tube.
  5. Reloading is safe as long as you watch what you are doing. If you shoot open you need to reload. I reload for every gun I shoot. No only can you tailor the load for your gun, you can save money on ammo so you can shoot more.
  6. For your first gun in limited I would go with Brazos HP edge http://brazoscustom.com/Home.htm
  7. Try here http://www.brazoscustom.com/magart/0407.htm
  8. I dont have WST, but my load is 230 Haps 5.0 gr N320 1.220 OAL winchester brass large pistol primers This give me a 172 FP
  9. I zero at 25 yards off a rest and then freestyle for fine adjustment. Then I will shoot at 5 10 15 20 25 yards to know where it hits.
  10. If you are running a light striker spring and a heavey trigger spring the trigger will not always reset. You need to take out the trigger spring and put a factory trigger spring in or run a factory striker spring.
  11. I upgraded from a 650 to a 1050 and could not be happier. Both are great loaders but the 1050 runs smoother than the 650. Knowing what I know now I wish I would have gotten a 1050 to start.
  12. Check and make sure everything is clean. Check the blue tip on the end of the primer tube inside where you fill the loader and also check the hose on the primer slide. when I start have dropped primers this usually fixes it.
  13. What bullets are you using with either of these? Thanks That would help 45 Hornady Haps 230 gr 40 Montana gold 180 JHP
  14. For 45 acp Glock 21 winchester brass cci large pistol primers N320 5.0 gr oal 1.220 crimp .470 Gives me 172 pf 40 s&w sti edge winchester brass win. small rifle primers N320 5.1 gr oal 1.200 crimp .420 Gives me 171 pf
  15. Brazos has them, That is what I use and they hold 29 rounds. http://www.1911store.com/super-tunedmagazinewithgramsordawsonbasepad.aspx
  16. What size was the new bearings you had made?
  17. I upgraded from a 650 to a 1050 and could not be happier. I sold the 650 to help pay for the 1050. I load 38sc, 40s&w, and 45acp. I bought the caliber conversion kit and just change when I need to. After you do it a couple times it is easy and does not take to long to change calibers.
  18. Just went from limited to open in Feb. having a blast!
  19. Check out Brazos he has a new one on his web sight http://www.1911store.com/slipstream-h--horizontal--mount.aspx
  20. When I got my 1050 about 6 months ago it would keep droping the primer out the back of the press at the rate of about 8 out of 100. could not figure it out. Called Dillon and they said there is a new primer side, they sent me the new one and I have not had any primer troubles since, about 4,000 rounds already.
  21. I upgraded from a 650 to a 1050 and thought why I did not do it sooner. You will love the 1050
  22. I am shooting a Brazos open with the offset mount. I have only been shooting open about 2 months but have not had amy trouble finding the dot.
  23. I also set mine at 25 yards. I then shoot at 5,10,15,20, to see where they impact.
  24. Had the same thing here on the 1050 with 38sc and 40s&w. Took a carbide cutter bit with a dremel and just rounded the corners of the sheel plate on the top and the bottom and have not had any trouble since.
