  1. Thanks that is what I was wondering.
  2. I have been playing with different triggers in my open gun. I don't care for the flat triggers so I have been using a curved. The problem is the sti long curved is to long, and the sti short curved is to short. Does anybody know how the SVI Medium curved insert is compared to the sti curved
  3. I have the magnetic version and it is great. No more tension screw to worry about.
  4. When I clean the top end I clean the firing pin channel with q-tips and the cleaner of your choice, I also run a pipe cleaner through the firing pin hole and reassemble dry
  5. NO keep the firing pin channel dry
  6. Sorry at the range, but I was told the web sight will be up soon.
  7. I was at the ISPC world shoot and there was a auto drive set up on a 1050. It was from a company called mark 7 reloading. It was belt driven and had a electronic control panel. The speed could be controlled and at any speed it would slow up at the bottom and top of every stroke to help stop powder spillage. It was also wired to the primer sensor so at 10 left it would sound a alarm and stop when the sensor alarm went off. They are new and where taking orders to be delivered in March. Look very very nice. No modifications to the press. The web sight is new but it is markvii-loading.com
  8. Sti has a flat trigger it is called the gunsmith trigger. You file to what ever length you want
  9. Look The Brazos mount. They have both the Horizontal and the offset mount. I use the offset mount at I like it alot www.brazoscustom.com
  10. I use a 17# mainspring and a wolff 12# variable recoil spring with 173 pf loads
  11. Where did you get the Edge from. Is the barrel chamber cut for long loaded ammo. I load my 40 out to 1.200 oal but the barrel is cut for long loaded ammo N320 is great powder for the 40, that is all I use
  12. I use the Dillon over the mr bulletfeeder on the 1050. It runs smother with the Dillon. That is with 38sc, 40 and 45acp
  13. I know its not on your list, but I have great success with N105 in 38 super comp and 125 gr bullets
  14. About 5 min if you stop and have a drink. Super easy all you have to do is change the plate and nose guide, also change the bullet dropper and adjust
  15. I had the same problem with my sentry. Check to see if the mag is tight when seated, if you can push the mag up slightly when seated you may benefit from the EGW high mag catch. You can test this by seating a full may and then put the gun down on the counter so it pushes up the mag, and then rack the slide to see if it feeds. if it does the EGW will help I put the EGW in mine and it feeds everything.
  16. I shoot a Brazos 38 sc open with a 10# wolff variable spring. The load I use is N105 10.4 grains Hornady 125 haps 1.230 oal This is the load that Brazos gave me and it is 171-173 fp
  17. I sit while I load. I can see in the case for powder, but have a mirror set up to see down in the case.
  18. GRX works great. I run the brass through the GRX on a single stage press and the load on the 1050. The GRX works so good for me that I dont even case gauge anymore.
  19. What did you say I cant here you. Yes you are right the 9x25 you shoot is loud.
  20. Lots of info in the open section of the forums, I zero at 25 yards but I shoot outdoor matches.
  21. When you add a bullet try you need to take the washer from the top bar that goes to the press out( that is the bar the bullet try bracket goes to) from the case feeder post, and add put it in the lower bar next to the case feeder post.
  22. Look at the Brazos custom HP edge I started with that gun and it is a great gun.
  23. You have to be careful to not loosen any loctite that will be on the comp threads. I try to not get too carried away with any solvents near the end of the barrel. The cleanest I have seen a comp is after glass bead blasting. Has anyone had success with this. My sonic cleaner turned up this week and I haven't used it yet. I only have the brass cleaning solution so I was thinking about trying it using just water. Would it work ok with barells too? I use a sonic cleaner with 50/50 water and simple green. Works great
  24. I load on a 1050 and find the Dillon powder funnel works better. The 1050 expands on station 3 with the swager and only flairs at the powder drop. The mr bulletfeeder funnel sticks a lot more because it is expanding and flaring. I have never had issues with the bullet tipping with rotation of the shell plate as long as you get it adjusted right.
