Definitely looking for a 2011, probably an edge from either Dawson or Brazos. Would like to keep it under 3k for everything; gun, mags, holster, etc... Don't know know if that's possible, we'll see Do Dawson or Brazos have any kind of warranty that follows their guns?

Hello all, new here, first post. Been shooting SS for a few years and now about to jump into limited. Lots of great info here, a bit overwhelmed trying to choose a new gun; who to buy from? New or used? what length dust cover? etc.. Seems like most things it comes down to personal preference. I have no experience with the .40, how does recoil, in the various configurations of 2011's, compare to a .45 1911 shooting 200grn swc at 170 pf?
