  1. I use the Redding GRx and dont even case gauge anymore. I have it set upon a single stage press, then load on the 650, the press runs easier also.
  2. G-Man I would also like a copy. Thanks
  3. I would put a good set of sights on it and that it. Get a Bladetech DOH mag holders and 5 mags. Shoot it as is to see what you like. What you think you want/need now will change as you shoot more and improve.
  4. I see Natchezss has Federal american Eagle 9mm 147 and 124 on sale. I have been shooting Blazer alum. 115 with my Glock 34 and It has worked fine. How does the Federal compare to the Blazer and what would be better the 147 or the 124. Yes I need to start loading for the 9mm but Iam not there yet. Need to get dies and supplies.
  5. Thank for all the help I will load up some starting a little low to chrono with the WSR. Maybe 3.5 and 3.7 and see where I am at. Once I get the load I will run 200 to 300 and see how thay look. Rolex I load 40 for Limited so I need the primers, That is why I have so many and a lot of N320
  6. I am going to start loading 9mm for a glock 34 and I was wondering if you can load with WSR primers instead of WSP primers. I have about 30,000 WSR and a lot of N320 and was going to use the N320 with MG 147 bullet, just not sure of the primers. The load will be for Production Division so I want to make about 132-135 pf.
  7. The edge of the bench to the edge of the strong mount is 1 inch on mine.
  8. I load about 1,000 at a sitting. Lasts about 1 or 2 months I load on an XL650 with a RF100, Takes me about 1 hour. I try to keep about 1,000 loaded all the time. When I get below 1,000 I reload more.
  9. Ok I ordered an Ed Brown SS hardcore stop, Wislon SS bullet proof stop, and the STI stop. The Ed brown says its for a series 70 but is cut for a series 80. The Wilson dropped right in the slide, the only fitting was to file the top for the bomar rear sight. A little loose for me but worked. The STI alhough blue was oversize from side to side and front to back. Already cut for the bomar sight, all I had to do was fit it for front to back and side to side. Being this was my first firing pin stop fitting I was happy with the outcome. I will use the STI and keep the Wilson for a spare.
  10. I have loaded clays for a Glock 21 gives me 167 power factor with kkm barrel Clays 4.0 Oal 1.230 Cci large pistol Bullet Hornady 230 HAP Crimp .470
  11. I am leaning to The STI from Brazos because I can get the FO sight and trigger job. I would have to change that out on the Baer. I have 1 HP Edge and 1 SC from Brazos and I love them both.
  12. Look at the HP Edge from Brazos. I have one and its runs 100%. It in now a backup gun becouse I got a Brazos SC
  13. Thanks for all the input. How do you tell the diffrence in the 45 vs 9 firing pin?
  14. Yes that has crossed my mind also, the night sights. I like a FO front sight, and a lighter trigger. The Baer has a 4# and buy the time I replace the sights and do a trigger job on it is it worth it?
  15. Also is there anything to look at on the Baer being it is a used gun?
  16. OK what about the STI people. Does anybody have both the Sentry and the Super Tac(which is a PII with night sights and Baer coat) to comapair
  17. I have been looking to get a 45 acp 1911. I handled the Trojan and do not like the stippling on the frame, so I have been looking at the Sentry. I came across a local shooter that has a Les Baer Super Tac for sell. The price between the STI and the Les Baer is only $200.00 more for the Les Baer. Never owned a Les Baer, how do the 2 compair.
  18. Can you shoot 9mm in Limited or does it have to be 40 or bigger for this match?
  19. Having never shot a steel match how is it scored, and is there a power factor?
  20. Yes I belive it is a factory part just chromed. The Gun is a Brazos SC Limited, It has never failed on me. It was shooting fine, I just saw the crack while cleaning. I orderd the ss model Ed Brown, It shouldbe here today and I can try fitting my 1st firing pin stop. I will let you how it turnes out.
  21. Shot the Monster match on Oct 31 and Manny was using a DOH in Limited.
  22. Thanks for all the help. I might order 2 that way if I mess 1 up? If not I will have a spare for the range bag.
  23. Figured out how to add a picture. The Ed Brown is round on the top what is the best way to square it off for a Bomar sight.
  24. Looking at the Ed Brown part on Shooters Connection it does not say 9, 40, 45, are they all the same?
