I am testing different loads in the 40sw and was wondering if anyone has quickload to see what the pressure of each load is? Load 1 Montana gold 180jhp 5.1 N320 1.200 oal .421 crimp winchester small rifle primers Load 2 Montana gold 180jhp 5.2 N320 1.220 oal .421 crimp winchester small rifle primers The only difference in the 2 loads is the powder it is .1 gr more to keep the same power factor becouse the oal is .020 longer between the 2

Just tried out my minor steel load from my Brazos limited gun. I run wolff 12# with Major power loads. I just put Wolff 10# for my steel load 135 PF and it ran great.

With a light striker spring and a heavy trigger spring, the trigger may not reset. When i run a light striker spring I dont run a heavy trigger spring. You can run either a light striker spring or a heavy trigger spring, but not both.

Good point I may just leave it set up.

Just got my Super 1050 and Iam loading 40 and 38SC do you need to use the swager with the pistol rounds, or do you just remove the swager and turn the rod down? I dont have any mil. brass or crimped primer pockets, so I dont think I need the swager but I am not sure.

Just got my new super 1050 and was wondering if the Dillon videos are worth getting. I have loaded on a 650 before I got the 1050 So I have experience reloading but I will need to do caliber change on the 1050 and was wondering if the video will help.

I have orderd the Super 1050 from Brian. Great service, it will be here next week so I can get started. Now I have an itch for a bullet feeder, and it seems if I get one the best on eis the MR Bullet Feeder.

I use them along with a wolff 4# striker spring on a factory striker and I can light off CCI primers all day long. I beleive that have less drag and that helps to prevent light strikes. And if they add a underwater stage Iam good to go.

I have a Brazos Limited and could not be happier. Have about 18,000 rounds and never missed a beat. I would not hesitate to get another, O wait I am it is a Open gun. Only thing is I have to wait until Dec.

Thanks for you help I think I will sell the 650 and get a 1050. A couple of the people I shoot with have 1050 and they say upgrade to the 1050 and later you can get a bullet feeder for the 1050 and be set.

Thanks for all the help. I did the mods to the 650 for powder spillage and they did help. I also got into the habit of putting my finger on the case to slow the index down. If I sell the 650 any idea of shipping, pain in the butt or not to bad. I have all the acc. for it, so I will need others boxes to ship along with the factory box.

I am switching to open and I load on a 650 now. I have read the 650 vs 1050 threads and was wondering if the 1050 spills powder when the shell plate rotates like you get with the 650. I have learned to put my finger on the case as it rotates to keep the spilling down. I will be loading N105 in 38sc and at about 10 gr the case is pretty full. I dont load alot, I only load 40 and 45 now but will soon be loading 38sc when my new open gun get built. Should I upgrade to the 1050 and sell the 650 or just load on the 650? I know keep both but I dont have a lot of romm so I cant have 2 reloaders

The inner belt goes on your pants. Put all you gear on the outer belt and then put the otter belt on your inner belt that run throught your pants belt loops

I change my firing pin spring every time I change my recoil spring. Every 3000 rounds.

I think what bends the firing pin is when there is no primer the tip goes into the flash hole of the brass and sticks, so when the case ejects it bends the tip.

Dont load the 200 but my load is N320 5.0 haps 230 OAL 1.220 win brass CCI large pistol Gives me 172 PF from a glock 21, Vihtavouri uses 6 inch barrels for there test.

So when was the last time you cleaned your gun? I clean my gun every time I shoot.

Glad you got it working. I would keep the factory connector. If you want to replace springs you can. I run a factory connector 15# recoil spring 6# trigger spring and wolff striker spring, runs perfect.

I started with a G21 in limited. I put sights a .25 trigger job, 15# wolff recoil spring, magwell and mag extensions. 17 rounds in the mag I did not feel I was at a disadvantage. I also reload. 172 pf in the G21 feels soft.

I hade the same problem with the same setup. The gun would double, you either have to remove the lonewolf connector or remove the 6# trigger spring. For some reason the combo of both the 6# trigger spring and LW connector does this. Go back to factory trigger spring or factory connector. This would only happen to me with the LW connector. I can run the 6# trigger spring and factory connector all day long with no issues.
