    Is this the new style extractor that's build into the breech face? If so I have a fellow shooter that had 2 break already. Also check the spring.

    I agree check the trigger guards barrel screws, if they come loose it can cause this.

    Check the slide stop for wear or bent.

    If your 155pf loads worked good and the only thing you did was change the load, I would take a very good look at your load. You could buy some other ammo and try that and see if it makes a difference.

    Yes, I also use N105 but when I run out I will switch to 3N38. Several others shooting around me in 38sc. use 3N38 and love it.

    I have used several Brazos trigger kits, they work great. I use a 15# main spring and have a 2 pound trigger.

    Don’t know what your skill level is but you could get a short block from Brazos custom and transfer most parts over to the new gun. https://www.1911store.com

    I would check out Brazos semi custom line, they are ready to ship and are top notch.

    I have had 2 SC open guns and 1 SC limited gun, they all have run 100%. They are built to the same standards as the pro series only difference is you don’t get to pick options.

    Check he grip screws, make sure they are tight.

    I shoot 38 s/c and use Dillon 9 mm ammo boxes.

    I have not had good luck with the MBF powder funnel. I use the Dillon power funnel and don't have any tipping. I also use the Dillon swager die in station 3

    I had a friend custom make a mount for the RTS2 that moves the sight back .430 which puts the sight all the way to the back of the slide. If you ever want to use sights again just remove the RTS2 and install the sights.

    Look at Brazos, he is making his semi custom line.

    Depends on what style magwell you have. Dawson does not work well with the cheely grip/magwell. The TTI will work with any magwell.

    Look at Brazos he is building the SC (semi custom) line again. Its a little more than your budget but might be worth looking into.

    I have been shooting a flat trigger but have been thinking about trying a curved trigger. What do you all like?

    I clean mine after every stage, I keep and good dry cloth in the bag and when I clean the mags I also clean the lens with the cloth. Been doing it like this for years with no ill effects.

    You should also look at Brazos trigger kit. I have used several of them and they are great gives about 2/2.5 pound trigger.

    25 yard zero. But I know where it shoots at 5 yards to 50 yards. With the 25 I never have to think about hold over or under at any distance between 5 - 50 yards

    Another thought, plastic grip could be cracked or the screws loose.

    You can take the slide off insert a mag and see if the trigger bow is hitting the mag. You said it only happens doing live fire. When you dry fire what do you do differently. The mag could also be hitting the disconnect.
