At the Open Nats a few years ago, a cold front came & temp dropped to the 40's. Everybody was scrambling for cold weather clothing. I noticed one of the top shooters who was still wearing shorts and a vest over a short sleeved shirt. So I ask him, "Don't you want a warmer outfit?". He said, "Nah, as long as my torso's well covered, the rest of my body should warm up too. It's all in the mind". Somehow, I'd like to agree with him but it was really cold that day and I had to keep my warm clothes on. I guess the point is, If weather conditions deteriorate and affects shooters performance, you should consider it to exploit it to your advantage. Oh, by the way, did I mention the guy in shorts was from Jamaica?
