  1. I bought my STI from Dawson with the CRP package and mags all at the same time. When I reported my issue to them I was directed to STI. STI didn't fix it so I guess it goes to Tripp next.
  2. I still flash. Use a GPS app named WAZE. It allows you and other users to report speed traps. It seems to have replaced radar detectors and CB radios.
  3. I would try a different sizing/decapping die. 9mm is my most loaded caliber and I have never had this happen. I use a Lee sizing die.
  4. I respect your choice. But IMO It's unacceptable not to be a member in this day and age. Hopefully you are protecting the 2A in other ways.
  5. Odd, I am on their email list and I don't get anything like you are describing.
  6. My 9mm has be 100% flawless for thousands of rounds but my new Trojan 40 won't run. It does the same thing as yours. It went back to STI for the issue and they improved it, but it will still do it 4-5 times during a 150rd match.
  7. I use the Leight sports and regular plugs under them. I find this to be the perfect combo. Without the regular plugs they are not adequate, especially if you RO for open shooters.
  8. The only real issue I find with caliber conversions is proper shell plate tension. Once you get the nak for setting that you won't have any issues getting it run perfectly when switching.
  9. Good to see this was handled properly. It does need to make the USPSA website website as well as be published in Front Sight.
  10. It's quite easy unless you look over the timer and splits or really have someone watching the RO.The RO could hit the back button one time before he shows anyone for guys he likes The RO could tap the timer on his firearm one time after the last shot is fired for those he doesn't. Yes, I see your point, thank you for pointing that out. Happily, I've never seen any of that done intentionally, I guess I live in a sheltered world!Chris I've never seen anyone do it purposely, but I have seen timers get bumped after the last shot is fired. It's easy to backup the timer and see a normal series of splits and then a 6 second delay and the final shot (bump).

  12. I load until the primer system is empty. Usually 300rds at a time, but sometimes more. I also keep the 1st 6 or 7 sized cases the press spits out unprimed handy. These are used to fill station 2 in the event u get a case that won't prime because it is crimped.
  13. The shooter also needs to review the times of last split if they want to keep the RO honest.
  14. Yes the one on the left. You can see the primer pocket has no taper to it.
  15. I still don't understand why so many people have an issue with the primer catch. Out of 1000s of rds I might get one out on the ramp and it never ends up on the floor. Could a less than stable bench be the issue?
  16. There certainly is an advantage with 8rd guns even with minor scoring. I think it was wrong to screw all the regular 625 shooters by allowing this. You attract a few new shooters and force your regulars to sell their 625's at a loss and buy new guns and all the accessories. Not cool.
  17. I just move to the area this month and stopped by as a spectator, it looked like a great match. I will attend next year.
  18. I generally only load 300rds at a time and it takes 30 min to do it. But that includes checking and putting brass in the case feeder, loading primer tubes, and cleaning up. If I happen to be loading on the weekend I may crank out 900, but generally I load later at night. Dillon 650 with case feeder.
  19. If coffee caused those problems for me I wouldn't drink it. But that is a list of things that only might happen for certain people and probably only when consuming unreasonable amounts.
  20. S&B is the only one I would avoid due to tight pockets. I have no preference otherwise.
