  1. Everyone should own a generator. I am in an area of the country that almost never loses power but owning one has come in handy over the past 10 years.
  2. The RCBS lockout die is a nice to have option on the 650.
  3. On 9mm (tapered case) I have no issue using the FCD with any bullets. I won't use it on 40 or 45 (straight case).
  4. I found the 650 is awkward without a case feeder. It really is a requirement as Sarge mentioned.
  5. I think the extra safety the auto index and station for the lockout die provides is worth the extra few dollars. Don't be afraid of the caliber conversion process it is simple once you do it a few times.
  6. It's probably shell plate related as others mention. But try loosening all your die locking rings, install a case in all stations, pull the handle down and tighten the locking rings with the shells in the dies.
  7. The picture confirms it is far too much crimp.
  8. I just got back from a trip to Vail and Beaver Creak. What a beautiful place.
  9. It's a 2nd hobby for me. More boxes are delivered to my home containing reloading gear than gun parts.
  10. I run 135g Berry's in my 9mm Trojan with good accuracy. My PF is 132-133 and my OAL is 1.150.
  11. About 30 to 35. Most are pistol but a few are Rifle and Shotgun.
  12. I use 230g plated with titegroup for my revolver loads. 4.4g @ 1.250 oal makes 168pf.
  13. I'm guessing you are seeing something that looks like a coke bottle. It's perfectly normal.
  14. Absolutely agree. Hopefully my post didn't come across any differently.
  15. I've had the Winchester safe with electronic lock for many years now. So far, no issues.
  16. That's probably true. I'll pass on any offer to try one, out of respect for my credit card.
  17. ^^ I honestly don't understand why the 550 exists. The price diff is not that much between it and the 650. Unless money is really and issue go with the 650 and a case feeder and you will never need to upgrade. I know many people who laid out money for the 550, tool heads etc... and later upgraded to the 650. The only reason to go 1050 is if you are dealing with tons of crimped brass. But then again, if you have the money for the 1050, buying uncrimped brass is likely not an issue.
  18. With the no gap base pads on Dawson mags, the base pad contacts the magwell the same time the mag fully seats. Some people seem to worry about over insertion and the matching base pads prevent it. I don't know it's the same with the Tripp mags.
  19. Yes it is working for me as well. Thanks!
  20. I only called the 1st time to see if they could fit 3K in the flat rate box. All my orders after that were internet orders.
  21. I mainly shoot Berry's. If you buy 3K of 124's from powerdervalley they ship in a flat rate box. Cost delivered is 8.33c per rd.
  22. I'm running a 15lb main and 9lb recoil in my 9mm trojan. I am shooting 135g Berry's at approx 132pf.
  23. What is the OAL of the ammo you are using?
