  1. Another vote for the STI Trojan with the Dawson CRP package and VZ Grips. I am using a Dawson magwell and Dawson mags. It runs perfect.
  2. Same here, I can read but can't post. I'm not a big poster so that is all I really need from my phone. Thanks!
  3. My STI Trojan in 9mm, with Dawson no-gap ICE magwell (alum MSH), Dawson 10rd mag with no-gap base, and VZ grips, makes weight by .1 on my basic food scale. I have never had it weighed at a match or tested using a different scale. It is cutting it very close as scales do vary.
  4. I tried the reinstall a few days after I started having the issue and it did not help. I just did it again now and it still does not work. I can login, but all forums are blank.
  5. I have the same issue, It started on 12/9. At 1st I could not login, now I can but all the forums are blank. I tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the app, but it did not help.
  6. I personally really like the way the finish has worn on my Trojan. It doesn't look crappy, just has a nice used look to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I have the Dawson ICE on a Trojan. No issues with it. The one screw on it is secured with locktite and it has not loosened up. Using Dawson mags with the matched base pads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I've never had that issue until recently when females started using the men's room at concerts. Taking a leak with dozens of loud drunk girls just a foot away was much more challenging than expected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have CR speed double stack holders that I use for single stack. The insert for the M&P mags is attached to the belt side of the holder and one of the others is on the opposite side. It works perfect, and when I want to go back to production I just remove the one insert. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I run 132 for minor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Welcome. I'll be in your state soon for a much needed vacation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  12. I think less experienced shooters like myself benefit from the extra two rds in minor and the reduced recoil. I have found nothing shots softer than an all steel 9mm 1911. The low recoil really allowed me to learn to see my sights and call my shots this year. I plan to switch to major at some pint in the future, but I am having a ton of fun right now. 13. 4.4g of Titegroup and a 230g plated bullet put me at just over 168pf out of a 4" 625. OAL was 1.250 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. I use ear plugs and a set of Howard Leight Impact Sports. They are low end and have no complaints with this setup. They don't supply enough protection without the plugs though. Cranked all the way up is plenty loud with the plugs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. We have one range in the area that operates in a similar manner. I don't enjoy shooting there. It only takes one person...
  16. I shot production for 3 years and went to single stack minor this year. I have more fun shooting SS using minor than I do shooting it with major. It's all about fun for me so I don't mind the scoring penalty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  17. Glock 17 Gen 2. It's still my least favorite of all the guns I own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  18. My 9 runs perfect, seriously, zero issues. Ammo is round nose,132pf, loaded to 1.150 oal. I compete with it 3 times a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  19. I am using an STI Trojan with Dawson mags. There is nothing I don't like about it and it is super reliable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  20. Titegroup and it seemed to be one of the easier powders to find during the shortage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  21. This is the same way I do it. It happens naturally and does not require thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  22. I have no preference at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  23. I tuned mine to be a little less sensative. I was not comfortable with disablng it, but nearly everyone I know who had the same problem did so. I also agree that it should never be disabled on a carry gun.
  24. I never had an issue with the thumb safety and can't image that many do. You naturally disengage it when you grip the gun and place your thumb where it belongs. The grip safety on the other hand... gives many people I know (including myself) issues. Many grab the gun high to get better recoil control and end up not engaging it. Most disable it.
  25. Welcome to the Forum. Utah is one of the most scenic states I have ever visited.
