Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Yehaaaww!!!!! I'm in!!!! Dean not sure if you're out st SHOT this week but if so let's talk..if you're not I'll catch up with you when I return...ill get you some goodies for the prize table!!!
  2. Got it....WCC stamp brass....sorted a few K and then started test fitting. About 40% was good to go. It's the moon on the left. To the right are .35 nickel and blue. Nice and snug...no wiggle...should be good now! Thanks for the help everyone
  3. If needed....would someone have one I could borrow for a few days to get him a sample to measure up?
  4. I know a guy who's retired and has a wicked machine shop that he still "tinkers" in I'm more than happy to ask about this as a project....I know he's probably work something out. I'll get back to you in a few days...
  5. No need for the spring loaded decapping for the rifle. Take a file and sharpen the end of the decaying pin...sort of like a chisel cut. Maybe 5 or 6 strokes across 4 sides....it won't mushroom out and you'll never pull a spent primer back into the pocket again.
  6. so is too tight just as bad as too loose? I've got a bunch of WCC stamp brass and it fits really tight in the .40 from revolver supply . should the brass spin in the moon or is it ok if it's snug?
  7. Since the day I plumbed it into my natural gas line I've always loved my grill!!! Not having to fill propane tanks is such a sweeeet thing. Went to turn on my grill this evening to cook up some salmon....grill was already hot. I thanked my wife....she looked at me and said "you're welcome but I didn't turn it on" It was then that I realized I had left it on since yesterday around 6:00pm :/ So yeah....I HATE running my grill for 24 hours straight!!!
  8. Here's my stuff....I can spend hours in there and never want to leave! The loaders are all Mounted on t-track so I can move them all to the rear of the bench and still have room to work On other projects.
  9. Does anyone know of online cyber Monday sales where I could get a deal on a shot timer??? Looking for a CED7000 tactical RF hopefully. At minimum I need an RF model. Thanks, Riggs
  10. Trigger weight - they run heavy Cylinder gap - they tend to be too log and uneven Cylinder last themselves tend to all be different sizes. Soooo... Most guys will have the trigger worked and the hammer bobbed anyway. To fix an uneven cylinder gap you'll need to have a smith take the barrel off and work that. youll have to check with your local smith on his price for this. If the cylinders are not all the same size...it would help to have them honed to ensure clean extraction. This should run somewhere in the $7-10 per cylinder range. So maybe $55-70 to fix that. You might also want to consider taking the comp off the pistol and cut/recrown the barrel. I've read lots of guys stories about having issues with them.
  11. Thank you for the heads up. Just snagged a race master magnetic holster and few extras for my 929.
  12. Is there a code for the double alpha discount??? Or is it just a Black Friday discount across their site?
  13. Gregg that's exactly one of the problems I had...it was a mess. Like I said...I do believe that the only tool they have in the custom shop is a laser engraver.
  14. Gotcha....thanks. I thought that might have been part of it. I'm going to be running the moon clip server so the magnets aren't a big deal.... I'm happy that'll work cause they're half the price of the SS units
