  1. I just screwed my to my bench without needing to do anything special. I am not clear on why it would need to overhang off the front of the bench. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The move to 8rd guns was what stopped me from shooting revolver. No interest in buying a new rig. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I dont know what the spring length or weight should be, so there is no direct test that I know of. Process of elimination would be the next best option. If you have set the adjustment properly, ruled out binding with a dirty feed ramp, shell plate timing/indexing or out of spec brass there isn’t much left other than that spring. You can also pull the spring, stretch it a bit and reinstall it. If things improve temporarily then it’s likely the spring. I would expect that to be a very temporary fix though. 4. For me it was the spring under the sled that was worn. But the adjustments for the sled are a strong possibility. There are two. The manual covers proper adjustment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. My 15-22 was not reliable enough to use in competition due to extraction issues. My CMMG is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. At the same price I prefer plated over coated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That is what I would do, but can’t say it is the correct thing to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. My press does this only when loading 40 with the bearing mod. Removing the bearing and double washer solves it for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I never ever notice how the shooter before me shoots or the two after I shoot. For the shooter before me my mind is on the stage plan. For the two after I am loading mags, eating/drinking or using the restroom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. That is defiantly not normal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Any time I spent more than $20 to shoot a match I felt ripped off. Many of my local non USPSA matches are $10 so even when I pay $20 for a sanctioned match I feel a little taken advantage of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. All my tightgroup Pistol loads pickup a minimum of 150fps out of a 16” barrel. They also pickup quite a bit in an 8” sbr. I have never tested a 12” barrel to see if it is faster than a 16” but I doubt it would be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I don’t like grease at all for a semi auto pistol. I do like standard Mobile 1. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. My best advice is to move outside NYC and commute in. The gun laws get a bit better. I commuted to lower Manhattan from Nassau county for many years but moved out of state 5 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. For item #1 if you live in the city, you must have a NYC permit to posses a handgun in NYS. So you need to follow the process to get a NYC possession permit. With a hunting endorsement I believe you can take it outside the 5 Burroughs but be sure to research that. LIPSA is outside the 5 Burroughs. If you try to buy a PCC outside of NYC with a NYC drivers license/address in NY you are going to strike out even if you plan to store it outside NYC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 124g Nato ammo seems quite stout. I have never chrono’d it but it recoils noticeably harder than your average 9mm ammo (not scientific, I know). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I cannot. I bought n320 because of the feedback here. There was no difference from tight-group for me. I can tell the difference with bullet weights though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Dawson. My Trojan has over 10k and has been flawless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Agree. Far better than any gun oil I have used. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. No. I have never had a need to do this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I have done this but I feed them manually into station 4. It goes fast. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. We maybe have 5 who shoot 40 major in limited. It certainly seems like there is a major shift to limited minor taking place. With the way USPSA likes to change rules for no reason I would not be surprised to see PF eliminated from limited. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. That is what the guns needs IMO. I got to handle one last week and I found the grip not nearly grippy enough for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. My Atlas has been flawless since I shortened my OAL on my reloads. If using coated Bullets the OAL needs to be short or it will not fully go to battery 100% of the time. Using jacketed or played allows the longer OALs. But since it runs 100% near factory OAL with coated there is no reason to go longer for me. The fit and quality of the finish is also top quality.
