  1. Thanks Sir for this detail and your reasoning behind your decision to go with the 4” unit..... As for the SN# question - had no idea if they were putting SN#’s on these units and if so was just curious as to how many units they had shipped.... Meant to say before and forgot - Great Pictures - Super clear. Thanks for posting. Mark
  2. Seattle Dude - Two questions please Sir.... 1 - You mentioned you ordered a 4” stand - Did you order the In-Line Fabrication (Micro Ultra Mount) and if so why did you go with the 4” instead of the 7.5” (Junior) or the 9 3/4” (Ultramount)....Asking because I wanted to understand if the 4” allows the bench clearance you needed or more so because of your height..... 2 - Does your RL1100 unit have a SN# on it and if so what number does your reflect? Thanks - Mark
  3. Set up and dry run the process of low ready to the first target 2-4 times before starting your first string and at least 1 or 2 times before starting your remaining 3-4 strings. More Importantly - And I have watched this by every Grand Master and Master shooter - After you complete your dry run - your low ready start position for your head and EYES are on the first target - NOT your sights.......Watch videos on line and you will see that the professionals are looking at their first target before the start buzzer sounds......Just a suggestion.....
  4. Thanks Zack - Wife does the Facebook thing for us and I neglected to go to the USPSA sight first...Sorry Sir and thanks for your post....Mark
  5. Love it - Great post and great pictures....Needed a good laugh this morning....
  6. Hoping Zack can jump in here and provide an update, if he has any information.....Thanks Mark
  7. IMO since I have a 650 having graduated up from a 550, I like the primer system on the 650 better than the 550 and it is my understanding that the primer system on the 750 is similar to the 550, which is different than the 650 and you said you were not crazy about the priming system on the 550 so I would keep the 650. Put a case feeder on the 650 and a Mr Bulletfeeder on it and you can load 30k rounds over a long three to four day weekend.....Just my opinion.....
  8. My C-More arrived today so I will get it mounted and head to the range this weekend if the weather allows...We have had more than our fair share of rain this early spring thus far.....Update when I get to the range
  9. Have you tried adjusting the trap slide on the case feeder opening? It is the small adjustable sleeve. I was experiencing the same thing when I started loading 300 B/O and it fixed my same issues completely....
  10. Learned that Dillon has a RL1100 in their R&D area that had over 1,000,000 cycles on it with no major component breakages. That is an impressive number in my book...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Agree also - I put one on my X5 and while I really like the results - there are better $200 improvements that one can make as mentioned above... will continue to use the grip unit as I like the overall feel of it better than the standard X5 grip...
  12. I have my 30 year old Rock Chucker sitting on my bench beside my 650 for the same reason - load development and those small batch runs in a different caliber....Hard to beat the old work horse single stage but sure love what Dillon has done on the progressive side reloading....
  13. Ours are white because we make them from cut 1”x2” pieces of plastic trim wood (Lowes)....
  14. Dang. That right there is purty....(county word that means Pretty).....Mark
  15. AzShooter - Thanks for sharing this photo and information. Having just purchased this model Scorpion I too want a holster since I am usually an RO and want to shoot in the match. This will save time....Mark
  16. Gerritm - Thanks for responding to my message this past weekend....Well I was able to get into a NIB Switchbolt with the thumbhole stock yesterday for under $500 so I decided to give this rifle a try since I currently shoot the Ruger Target-Lite and have the occasional FTF or FTE issue (usually once or twice in each match).... I spoke to Jason at MR yesterday by phone and after five minutes on the phone with him I am glad I bought this rifle...He told me that if I have any issues or problems with my rifle to contact him direct at MR and he will make it right....That is customer service that can not be beat - IMO....Time will tell...Should have the rifle in my hands next week.... Thanks for starting this thread...Mark
  17. I purchased a complete striker assembly from Osage County Guns https://osagecountyguns.com/sig-sauer-1302833-r.html
  18. Bill - Thanks Sir..Appreciate the breakout....Mark
  19. Bill - May I ask what this set up costs without the red dot? Love that receiver....Thanks Mark
  20. Wanted to ask anyone who knows for sure - Will a standard P320 complete striker assembly work in a P320 X5.... Asking because I called myself looking and did not see anyone selling the Complete striker unit for the X5 but found plenty of places selling the complete striker unit for the P320... Thanks Mark
  21. Peter - Would you consider cutting my current Ruger Target-Lite stock to this or as similar as possible design? If so can you message me and let me know what you would charge me. I do not have the skills or ability to even thing about trying this with my stock but would pay you to do mine....You cannot mess mine up as I LOVE the look of your stock post work...Thanks Mark
  22. First off please let me say that I LOVE this country and I LOVE the symbol of the American Flag and what it represents but I am not one that likes “flashy” items and prefer to be just one of those shooters in the crowd..... With that said I am now 60 years old and decided to thin the heard of several unused pistols from the vault to make room for a bucket list pistol I have wanted for several years.... I shoot a Ruger MK3 22/45 Target Lite and have for four plus years so when I saw the opportunity to pick up this “grail gun” at it’s almost $400 below the normal going price (this model’s pricing is coming down due to the introduction of the Black Mamba Which is built on the Ruger MK4 frame design) and it was NIB, I jumped on the deal...... Remember what I stated previously - well off to Doug Leonard at HD Coatings and Firearms in Brownwood, TX this pistol had to go....Doug has done work for me on my firearms in the past so I know the quality of work and attention to detail he provides.....Allow me to show you what Moly Resin coating, in the hands of a professional, can do - and all for under $150 including return shipping......This finish is FLAWLESS....Now I have EXACTLY what I wanted...If you ever need any weapon finish work done, or just want to change the color of your firearms, contact Doug...He can do just about anything and any color you could think up....Also - this pistol was out of my hands for 8 days total - including shipping both ways....I will let my less than great pictures show you my newest beauty that will now get a C-More mounted on it for my first practice session this weekend...Enjoy... Mark BEFORE AFTER
  23. ^^^^^^^^^^^ Dillon provides a lifetime warranty on all 550’s and 650’s.....Run it till it quits and then send it back for a rebuild and start all over again....The best reloading company - period.....
  24. If I were to run two, if possible, I would want both to be the same size dot...This would allow my eye to not have to reset or refocus when transferring from one optic to the other...Just my opinion....
