  1. I have a 1050 and a 650. Both have case feeders and bullets feeders. They are both mounted to the same bench. Considering another 650 to set up for large primers.
  2. The Safariland 014 when locked is about as secure as you can get. Your belt will come off before the gun comes out of it when locked. It is very simple to unlock during the draw.
  3. The one I am using is over 10 years old. I have only had to replace the battery. Runs great. They quit making them for a couple of years and brought them back due to customer request. I bought a new one for a back up so if the old one ever dies. Sold my Dillon primer tube filler.
  4. Game of Thrones hauls been nominated for 19 awards.
  5. Johnny at Limcat builds great pistols.
  6. I would be happy to swap with you if you weren't a midget. Need a 2 or 3 XL. LOL
  7. I ordered one and found out it wasn't legal and returned it. You would think Ghost would come out with a new mounting plate for the holster.
  8. J B Weld works good. Put it on both sides and completely fill the slot. Make sure it is completely cured before you recut the slot.
  9. I also keep the PF around 171 to 175 in my 9 mm open guns.
  10. The 121 IFPs are more accurate in my open guns.
  11. I have received 5 membership renewal forms this month alone. My membership doesn't expire until 2015. I will get the same next month. Unless they are getting the paper, printing and postage free they could save a ton of money if the quit sending out BS mail. I am a member and support them and appreciate all the work they do for us but it seems the money could be better spent on something else.
  12. Plenty of powders available now for loading 9 Major.
  13. That is what I use on 9mm and 40 S&W along with a Redding Micrometer seating die.
  14. At the distances skeet targets are shot you could take the choke out out the gun and break them all. It has nothing to do with the choke. Save your money and practice. The light will come on when you practice..
  15. At 64 years old I have had to rethink whether or not to continue USPSA shooting. I have two knees that are bone on bone along with hereditary neuropathy. I cannot run or even jog for that matter.. Getting up and down for low ports is impossible. Through all of this I still enjoy shooting and still have the desire to compete. I have decided to quit shooting USPSA matches and concentrate on Steel Challenge, ICORE (much less movement) and Bianchi Cup.. When you get older or have serious physical problems you need to make an honest assessment of what you are capable of doing and move on to matches where you cab be competitive.
  16. I load 10 primer tubes with a Vibra Prime before I start loading. It takes less than 10 minutes to load the tubes and I am good for 1000 rounds

    skeet o/u

Don't worry about weight on a target shotgun you are not going to be carrying it like a hunting gun. You will appreciate the extra weight after shooting a couple of hundred targets. Less felt recoil. Make sure you like the balance of the gun the weight should not even be noticeable when you mount the gun properly. My 2 Kolar o/u and my Seitz single barrel trap gun tip the scales right around 9-9 1/2 lbs.
  18. Marketing for the manufacturers? You can't buy a Glock 35 for Limited and convert it to a 34 for Production. You have to buy 2 complete guns.
  19. If you want the ultimate .22 rifle get $4-5000.00 together and get in touch with Bill Calfee.
  20. If you plan to invest a lot of money in a .22 rimfire an Anschutz with the 54 action is definitely the way to go. Plenty of older guns available with the 54 action for around $800.00-1000.00. Or you can buy new ready for glass in the $2000.00 range with a factory stock that is suitable for a tactical rifle..
  21. You can buy a nice used Browning for the same price and have a much better gun that will last. The Browning will also hold it's value.
  22. This incident should be documented chronologically on the USPSA website. When it was first reported and by who. What the investigation turned up etc.
  23. I have had very good luck loading 9 major with the following powders; Silhouette True Blue Auto Comp All generate plenty of gas to work the comp. My OAL is 1.160, using MG 121 gr IFP. All are loaded to 170 PF.
  24. They also purchased the Steel Challenge for who knows how much. Now there is a group in Piru sp? Starting another upscale SC match there because the left coast bunch doesn't want to travel.
