  1. Grams pads will eventually crack when they are installed on a tube that has not been modified for the U pin to fit with no more force it takes to push the U pin into an uninstalled pad.
  2. I had one on my old Tanfoglio open gun (sidewinder with a ball/detent install) and I loved having it. Now on my Tripp 2011 open gun it did not come with one and I have not missed it. If I decide to get one again I will go with the zig racker from Brazos as he already has the ball bearing and spring installed in the racker itself so all the slide needs (besides the dovetail cut) is a dimple to accept the spring loaded ball bearing. Good luck
  3. Several sizes, it's best to just to call him (Beven). Gramsengineering.com
  4. Grams are beveled on the bottom inside to help with capacity where as Dawson's are not. IMO Grams are the best.
  5. I had Bill at highercapacity.com make me a small frame big stick a few years back. Worked wonderfully and Bill was great to work with.
  6. Have you contacted Matt or Bobby from CK Arms for their powder and bullet recommendations? Matt put a lot of work into designing his comp and I'm sure has "preferred" components for getting the comp to work best. Good luck
  7. Worked so well when I had my 550 I transferred it over to my 650, works like a charm
  8. Do a search, many threads about this. Works for many but there are reasons why it shouldn't. I'm glad it works well for those that have luck with no spacers.
  9. Undersize die sold by egw and lee. Made by Lee if memory serves me correct. Resizes the case a little smaller than a typical resizing die.
  10. Not in front of my 650 but I can share this from memory. 1. A second powder funnel is great as you might have to bring it's diameter down just a little to avoid setback. 2. Since you have the .223 shell plate use it but you can use the shell plate for 9mm, just a little more wiggle of the brass in the plate. 3. Your 9mm case feeder plate will work for the 38tj brass.
  11. Ask Matt or Bobby from ck. I'm sure they have it filed away somewhere.
  12. They only come in 38 Super and 9mm from what the STI website says. http://stiguns.com/guns/dvc-open/ Are you sure it's set up for 38SC? It would suck if you had extraction problems right out of the box assuming it's set up for 38 super. Not that it can't be adjusted easily. Good luck with it when you get it, they are really nice.
  13. I would ask bill sahlberg at highercapacity.com
  14. Talk to Beven directly and get it from the horse's mouth
  15. Makarov for push through works. I used to use it for my 9x21 major brass, no ill effects
  16. Look at an earlier post, I attached a picture of what it was
  17. Sight it in freestyle, not off a rest. You don't use a rest in a uspsa style match.
  18. Yes. Contact STI if it concerns you.
  19. You can contact sti for a warranty replacement
  20. If you don't mind the extra work get a Lee 9x18 makarov fcd, remove the top and put it in a single stage press and push through resize all your 9mm brass. Buy the Lee bulge buster kit for added convenience. Yes, it does work. Then use whatever 9mm sizing/decapping die in your press that you like best.
  21. You can use a push through system on a single stage press for 38sc to completely resize the case. Much cheaper than a casepro. I'll have to look at mine to see what die is in there.
  22. Did you buy 13 coil or 11 coil grams springs? 140 mag, you would want an 11 coil spring. No need to cut coils off of grams springs
