  1. Did it jam with either size magazine? (140 and 170). Kenny said you were having all sorts of problems Saturday but did not elaborate.
  2. have you checked the extractor tension? and what kind of extractor is in there? std type or an Aftec?
  3. proper fix is to put small bevels on the bottom of the frame, not mess with the magazine release notch. Many threads about this
  4. There are several threads about removing just a little bit of frame material on a bevel so the new style SV mags fit. Not all need it done. You'll find others who modify the mag catch hole in the new style SV mag, that is not the correct fix. Good luck
  5. can you live in PA as an alternative? or too long of a commute?
  6. I enjoy watching that video about once a year just to remind me of all the advice you give in it.
  7. you need to measure the back side of the tube in mm. then get a grams bp to get you to 171.25mm. you probably need a 7mm or 11mm based on your picture, assuming that is a 2.5 or 3mm one you have on there now
  8. Read the other mbx threads, answers are there. good luck
  9. That looks like an older model? Have you tried contacting Brandon yet, he can tell you based on the serial number at a min. when the frame was manufactured and/or was it a factory build or parts sent to a gunsmith. On those older guns they highly recommended using 3n38 powder only. Good luck
  10. SV or SPS tubes with grams internals and bp's will get u 28-29 rnds and be reliable. as long as your frame has the proper bevel along the bottom where the top of the magazine would be you'll have no trouble with new style SV mags, especially since you are having the gun built. or just try the mbx's; adrian is working hard to make a good product
  11. what press? I have a 650 and dillon powder thru does the same thing every once in a while. But I am NOT using a .223 she'll plate like I should be when loading 38sc. just the 9mm shell plate. although I found if I keep the outer edge of powder thru die wiped off (case lube builds up on it) it almost never crushes the case like u show.
  12. "In Europe it is unlawful to sell a 9x19 so they focus on other calibers as is is their main consumer marketplace." True but instead they are chambered in 9x21, which is the same tapered case like a 9x19, just 2mm longer. Sorry for all your troubles, hope they get worked out
  13. I've done more than one at a time in my vibratory tumbler, no ill effects
  14. small frame mags=use Mec-Gar mags for CZ-75. Used them when I had a small frame eaa open gun. They were flawless. Good luck
  15. Try Rich D http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=92
  16. Probably as the TTI has a bevel on the inside bottom surface where none of the Dawson's do. that slight amount of bevel makes a difference when the spring is fully compressed and can allow one more round. BTW, Grams pads have the bevel inside also and IMO are the best ones to use.
  17. if you keep having an intermittent problem with the empty cases getting stuck like you mentioned with ONLY the big stick it could very well be there is not enough tension on the extractor. the spring pressure forcing the rounds up between a 140 mag and a 170 mag are different and an extractor with just not enough tension will work fine with a 140 mag but NOT with a 170 mag. good luck
  18. Brazos HP Edge is NOT a custom gun. It is a standard Edge that Brazos takes apart and refits everything or sends it back to STI to fix. Still a quality gun though, just not custom. Good luck.
  19. search is your friend, many threads about this topic. Good luck
  20. I'm still fairly new to the 2011 open world but a full length dust cover with a sight-tracker type of barrel and a steel comp seems like a LOT of weight up front. Hopefully you get it figured out, good luck
  21. nebraska. send me a pm, I'll send his info to you
