  1. What power factor do you get out of that? I'm still shooting 115gr and am looking to move to 124gr. Your formula is almost exactly what I was going to go with.
  2. Welcome! Consider me subscribed to your YouTube channel
  3. Same here works great and is easy to remove and use for extra light when cleaning or smithing. Use incandescent bulbs so it doesn't get hot. That makes 3. I have the same thing.
  4. Believe it or not, some of us actually live here If you're interesting in meeting up with a fellow benos member, let me know. I don't know where in town you will be, but I'm sure we can find a place for lunch or something. Or, if you want to go shooting, we have several indoor ranges. This Texas boy is not looking forward to going there in the winter. I'll be at the HME plant and they haven't sent us a schedule yet so I'm not sure about most of it. I'll send you a PM when I know more. Sounds good. If it is the HME plant on Chicago Dr., it is literally 5 minutes from my office! Hopefully we'll get to meet up.
  5. That is fantastic! Looks like you have your immediate answer. BUT, I think the advice that was given, particularly the most recent advice from Nimitz in post #52 is still spot on. Just because the issue ended up not being pushed doesn't mean it won't at some point. It's a good idea to talk about everything and to talk about it now. And when you talk, make sure you let her know you truly appreciate what she said. She sounds like a wise woman, and you need to be a wise man by letting her know you appreciate that Signed, Happily married with 2 kids

  7. You win I got a lot of tech stuff. The only shooting related stuff was a Cabela's gift card. I tend to purchase shooting stuff all year round
  8. Well done! You are an encouragement to those of us who need to do the same (me).
  9. Welcome from a fellow Michigander!
  10. I've been very happy with targets from http://www.letargets.com. Pricing and shipping are competitive and their customer service was excellent the one time I had to call them.
  11. For purely eye focus and grip, I would say golf. Overall for everything, I agree that tennis would be a great one. Too bad I don't play tennis
  12. This is exactly what I do. I am an incredibly forgetful person. If I did not follow this procedure, I would likely have your experience on every stage.
  13. I now have to clean the drool off my keyboard. Thanks. Wow - that is a beautiful gun!
  14. Well done! Your description of the match read like an action novel. Amazing that it came down to 1 point!
  15. This one has been fun to read My thought, which doesn't add much, is that Steel Challenge does seem to be waning (I would not say "dying"), but steel shooting continues to be popular. This from a guy who shoots at the SC matches. Our local one worked in a "fun" stage last month to change it up a little bit and received very positive feedback on the concept.
  16. I have to admit, that's what I told myself when I started. Now I will laugh along with the picture
  17. I use Titegroup quite a bit. I have noticed the burnt-powder flakes on my forearms after a match or a long practice session. I notice it more with "older" reloads (a couple of months old). Not sure why that would make a difference . . . maybe I'm imagining it.
  18. Welcome from a fellow Michigander (Grand Rapids area) and thank you for your service!

Very nice. I think I may have to more seriously consider one - I've been thinking about it for a while now.
  20. Another vote for the Pocket Pro II. Have been using it for a couple of years and hasn't failed me yet. Nice loud beep and easy to read display.
  21. I'm in the group that goes for 130-135 . . . closer to 135 than 130.
