  1. This is the attachment you want. The wings are huge. add the DO hangar and you are golden. http://shop.blade-tech.com/product_info.php?cPath=81_124&products_id=146
  2. What platform did you switch from? Try breaking your draw down to segments and make each perfect with the new gun.
  3. Careful with the frangible rounds though. I have seen a few of them shear off at the crimp leaving a VERY light wad cutter in a 9mm casing. This was all from factory Winchester frangibles.
  4. You are 100% correct that is where they came from, I purchased one direct from the dealer that got them from Greene Co. S.O. It is a shooter, I replaced the front, and rear sight, cleaned it, adjusted the trigger, nothing else was needed, all of the magazines function I called SV with my serial number, and they told me that mine was built in 2000. I am really happy with the gun, at some point I may have it refinished, but then again it has character the way it is. So in your opinion, are these worth the $2000 price tag?
  5. Can you use and win with a CRP? Yes. Are you going to upgrade the CRP? Seems like it. Is it worth it to go custom to begin with? If you have the money go for it. Most people I know that upgraded the parts on a factory gun usually with tell you when it's all over and done with that they would have come out ahead if they went custom from the start. You only what you want and need that having spares in a box. Hope this helps.
  6. I would try the SVI for large hands or the IEE one. They are all about the same size but the weight will make the world of a difference.
  7. Good that he gets to fix the mistake but it seems like he himself is challenging his own declaration of power factor. Was it the right choice as a person, sure. As a match official according to the rule book, only if Troy would agree. Just my $.02
  8. Yeah.... borrow some ones Glock before you jump over to it. As a B you should know that the price of the gun is nothing in comparison to the rest of the game. I recommend you pony up now and get a TS instead. Same controls as what you are used too.
  9. Congrats, now start volunteering at majors and you accomplish everything you have stated.
  10. If I recall there was a guy who ran a bone stock Glock 24 and did fairly well. But seriously, what is your experience and back ground in USPSA and what is your budget. At a minimum I say you need to change out the sights and add some basepads. After that the sky is the limit as to what you can dump into a Glock.
  11. Try a few before you buy them as most will feel a little different. I have a DK, a Zev, and a mismash of parts in a different guns. Each have their pros and cons.
  12. Give the new machine a bit and keep us updated on the journey.
  13. At the Florida open this year there was a prone table start. I saw some belts that only had one mag pouch for that emergency reload. Mag pouches in our gut aren't fun though.
  14. Just to let anyone who is interested in this sight block. They are not compatible with the GEN IV RSA. The slot if not wide enough to let the guiderod and barrel unlock.
  15. Everybody ... You have a great range in Mims - we used to shoot there once a month, but they closed it down. Most people in Titusville now shoot in Volusia - down on Rt 46. They have a great range there (Dave Pruitt - GM, is The Guru at Volusia - great shooter, teacher and gunsmith). North of you is St Augustine and south of you is Orlando (Central Florida R&P). Welcome aboard. You forgot the WAC out west.
  16. Make sure to update when you get a response this seems like a far fetched situation but still an every match possibility.
  17. I'd be willing to bet that the moment these become available someone will have some aftermarket sights that perform that function. Certainly. There are already a number of companies that sell "suppressor" sights to allow for a front site post that is taller than a suppressor on the front end. Many people already running slide mounted red dots run such sights since they are taller and allow a co-witness. I just thought Glock would think to include those from the factory on a gun meant to mount an optic to, I believe the M&P Cores have that from the factory. But like I said, not a deal breaker, because the factory sights never last long on my Glocks! I just picked up a factory threaded G17 and it has taller sights. Not that cheap plastic but decently built metal ones. Maybe they might throw those on it.
  18. Thank you guys for all of the advice on things to do and see. I had planned on bring my gear up but now I am not so sure about it seeing as I will not be bringing a vehicle up. If anyone else has any more things I would greatly appreciate it.
  19. I think that it all matters a little bit since it should all be done simultaneously. As your right hand is dropping the mag your left hand should be at the pouch already. Sometimes you'll see the really fast guys hit the used mag with the incoming mag.
  20. How tall is tall, at 36x38 You must be slim about 6'5" Have you gone to any outfitter store and tried on different 36x36? I'm 6'3" and I can get away with certain brands.
  21. In my understanding and experience in IPSC is that you had: Open= Open Standard= Limited Production= Production Classic= Single Stack Revolver= Revolver But the big difference between Limited and Standard is that Standard has to fit into the IPSC box. Production need to be OEM parts. So, to clarify, which division do you normally participate in?
