  7. Order in advance and in quanity and Zero's are a great projectile at a great price. Tom
  8. Scott, if I was shooting an open gun with a frame mounted optic I would use a mount like David Sam's does on the M9 Bullseye guns or use locating dowells and 100 degree aircraft screws . Or point out the gun has issues and offer less money for it Tom
  9. All misc 9mm brass execpt REM work great in stock TK 929 moonclips. They have stainless clips that work with REM brass, Tom
  10. Terry,my standard load for my 929 is 4.8 gr of Autocomp ,Zero 115 JHP #135 at 1.095 aol, Win primers misc cases and standard blue TK custom moon clips. Will shoot 1.5" at 50 yards. No issues with loading or extraction. I use a standard Lee sizing as it sizes lower that most other dies. I aslo have a lot of Rem 9mm brass and found that it is to tight to use in standard TK blue moon clips. TK has stainless clips that work great with Rem brass. I also have not seen VV330 listed for sale recently. BMT 929 moon clip tool works great for me. Tom
  11. 13/16 same as early spark plugs...21mm. Tom
  12. Are you shure it is only one squib?? Bigger hammer. Tom
  13. My 929 with the stock firing pin functions 100% with mixed brass, yet somtimes pierces WIN primers but not Federal. Tom
  14. Found some 9 X 21 ammo and put it in 929 moonclips today. Cylinder will close but cylinder does not turn easily, has a lot more drag than 9 X 19. Tom
  15. I also have 40>50 TK standard moon clips, no issues with all brass except Remington which TK made me custon EDM moon clips to fit the 9K of Rem 9mm cases I have. I use a standard LEE 9mm sizing die. Tom
  16. As a 7 shot S&W revolver was done for Italy a few years ago not hard to understand. Many Smith models started as export models only. Tom
  17. Thanks to George and the staff for putting on this match. Tom
  18. Is Smith send a return shipping label? If it comes back with a different serial number you will have to do another 4473 at a dealer. Is it a current production gun? Tom
  19. Has the brass ever been loaded with European primers ? Tom
  20. I shoot misc brass in stock TK moon clips and only have extraction issues when there has been a split case. I shoot jacketed 115 gr 90% of the time at 1175 FPS 135PF. Cylinder has been replaced by Smith . Tom
  21. 4.8 to 5.2 Autocomp with 115 JHP Zero work well in my 5" M&P. Tom
  22. 115 gr 9mm with Autocomp and 147 gr with WSF work well in my 929. Tom
  23. On the two 929 I have sent back to Smith for accuracy issues. One got new Barrel, cylinder, trigger, hammer, rear sight, the other just a barrel. When I asked Smith about the cylinder spec the engineer said .3575" was the spec for the 929 and yes the .38 Super 627's were .356". As I have 10 k 115 9mm projictiles I am working on a load with them. 160 Bayous work well, .357" 125 gr and 147gr also load and shoot well. All loads tested at 50 yards. Plan to use the 929 in NRA Action Pistol metallic class. Tom
