  2. I called Sig yesterday and asked if I could buy extra mags for the 220 in 10mm. After looking at the build sheet he said they were 220 .45 mags Tom
  3. If you put the forks pointing down it is much harder for the holster to come out of the clip. Does Safiland have any bolts longer than .375"? That is the longest in the kits and is at least 1/16" short . Tom

  8. Shoot a revolver and unless you have a 1050 you will hand prime all brass so it does not matter what gun you shoot it out of Tom
  9. All 3 929's that I know of that got returned for accuracy issues received new barrels. Mine had barrel, cylinder, trigger, hammer, rear sight replaced. Tom
  10. What is " just sometimes it won't get out of 1st gear" ? When the car is moving you should be able to pull it out of gear into nuetral. Clutch hydraulics can be not working and you should be able to drive the car if the mechanical parts are in working order. I have been around VW Audi Porsche vehicles for many years and have driven them even with broken clutch cables and hydraulics . You just drive them like a truck or race car that has dog type gearboxes. Stuck pilot bearing in the crankshaft will make shifting hard as is does not allow the transmisson inputshaft to slow down. Tom
  11. Wilson Combat now offering 400 rd bulk packs on 9mm. Tom

  15. Will a CR Speed short revolver holster fit a S&W 929? Can not seem to find the long version in stock? Tom
  16. Accuracy is the main issue here, anyone have a load that will shoot under 2.5" at 50 yards consistently? All 8 rounds. And repeat. At least 120 PF. Tom
  17. I have seen this in other factory loads testing my 929. +1 on what John said Tom
  18. In a coversation with Walther they have not been associated with Smith & Wesson for quite a while now. Best guess is Thompson Center is now the barrel supplier. If that is the case I used to respect their barrel making So maybe a Walther barrel is worth a try. Tom
  19. Warren, going to start with 125 gr .357 and go up from there. Depends on how much lead I can get with the front mover sight. Tom
  20. Night and day. Replacing the spring is only part of the action work? Tom
  21. I now know of three 929 that have been sent back for issues, all three now have new barrels. After many attempts I got to talk to one of their engineers. Accuracy spec for the 929 is a 4 inch group at 25 yards and the spec for the cylinder throat is.3575" So with a 1/10 twist barrel and that throat spec what projectile do you thing I am going to try next. Tom
