Maybe this should be a separate thread.
Has anyone sent 9mm major ammo in for pressure testing...at a company like HP White, and why not? Seems to me that is the only way to answer all the pressure issue questions.

Looking at Production or Metallic? Keeo in mind there are only 12 shoots at 50 yards in the Practical event. But you must shoot the same ammo at all four events @ minimum of 120 Power Factor.
A Hornaday .357 125 grain projectile will pass thru my 986 cylinder with a slight push. My 929 will shoot under 2" at fifty yards with Zero and Hornady HAP projectiles. Winchester Auto Comp and Vit N330 have worked well for me.
Speed is your friend with the 9mm...1150 FPS or higher will probably show the best results at 50 yards. While "bounce " on the barricade my be an issue.
X ring on the NRA target is 4" and the 10 ring is 8".
Revolvers are a blast to shoot in NRA action pistol.

Same thing happens with the first shot from a new mag when shooting from a Ransom Rest first shot almost always low. Yes it does seem to be slide speed related. I have seen many first shots 5" or lower.
When I asked Brian Zins about this he smiled and said my first shot is always on call?

This is the Zero copy of the HAP projectile.

Shoots well out in all of my 9mm guns...and 1" at 50 yards in my Bullseye 1911.
