  1. My legion has a build date of February 2020. It has the cutout for SRO and no LCI. The SRO is not a snug fit on mine. There is a gap both front and back. I chose to mount it with a Springer Precision plate. Really only reason was I have another non-Legion X5 with SRO mounted on a plate, so now they match.
  2. Hey Jeremy. I used the 15 minute epoxy on both of the ones I have done. Worked fine for me.

    X5 Legion accuracy

    I did. Pretty much drop-in.
  4. Haven't tried cutting them, but the old school way is to put velcro on the back of the pouch mount so it sticks to the inner belt.
  5. Wow!! Put me down for another box on the 15th please. I will send a PM.
  6. I think he may be talking about the mounts made by Carver Custom. https://www.carvercustom.com/ecommerce/carver-handgun-scope-mounts/carver-glock-scope-mounts/competition-glock-scope-mounts/carver-competition-glock-c-more-mount.cfm
  7. For SS and Revolver, there is just one group per day, the AM and PM squads were combined. Look on Practiscore or at the schedule in the match book. They sent an email that stated we are shooting 12:30 - 5:00 on Thursday and 9:00 - 2:15 on Friday and Saturday. Good luck.
  8. As others have said...A+ Brass. Have ordered from Todd several times and will continue to do so.
  9. I've been to the CMP for the last two years for the WSSC and the safety course is just you watching a 10 minute video. Pretty painless.
  10. My daughter is right handed and left eye dominant. What I notice is that she simply holds the pistol normally but in front of her left eye. Nothing more than that. In fact that is how we figured out she was left eye dominant. I was standing behind her and noticed she shot with the gun a little bit to the left. It was nothing I taught her, she just did it on her own.
  11. Hey Randy. It is going to depend on how many stages and how many people. For example, in our area, Spartanburg Practical Shooting Association (SPSA) shoots 5 stages in about 2 -3 hours. Belton Gun Club shoots 6 stages and usually has more turnout. It usually takes 3 - 4 hours.
  12. Hi Todd. Got the brass today and it looks great. Had it not been for the spent primer, I would have sworn it was brand new brass. Thank you again, Jerry Chapman
  13. Completed your survey. Have two children (12 and 6). The oldest does compete in Steel Challenge and has shot USPSA. The youngest is a little too small and young for competition but he and I do practice shooting.
  14. I think it is a mk1. Check out this link: http://guntalk-online.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=934&sid=8f7c377d5bb754be4664906b70490cb1 Mk2 should have a cutout for a bolt hold-open lever. Also will have the receiver angle cut at the back.
  15. Shooters Connection has a compact version of their bag. https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/NEW-Shooters-Connection-Tournament-Series-Shooting-Bag-PRO-Compact-P4511.aspx
  16. I have only seen one Eotech at a steel challenge match but don't think it would be a problem. Also, check out the Holosun 510C; it also has a circle-dot reticle. I use one on a PCC and RFRO.
  17. For this year's LOCAP nationals, production and limited 10 are being shot on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Then Wednesday is an off day. Single stack and revolver will be shot on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Do you guys think the stages will be "re-worked" on Wednesday and do you think they could possibly favor major more since those final days are SS and Rev only? I know it is just a guess, but curious what you guys think. I will be there shooting SS.
  18. Don't know about USPSA but saw him shooting the World Speed Shooting Championships (Steel Challenge) last year.
  19. There is supposed to be a bushing/collar on that bolt that the triangle piece rides against. Sorry for not knowing the proper terms. Dillon's website will show it in the parts diagrams. Dillon part # 13498 - case feed plunger roller.
  20. As others have said, you are never too old to start and have fun. You may be too old to start winning but not too old for fun. My Dad started shooting steel challenge at 75. He is now 77 and a B class shooter. Besides having fun, it keeps him active. It gets him out of the house and keeps his brain active. He gets a little exercise along with some fresh air and sunshine.
  21. The "Ladder Test" always worked for me. http://www.6mmbr.com/laddertest.html
  22. My dad has a performance center model 41 that he shot in steel challenge. He shot it for about a year but now shoots a Ruger 22/45 lite. Some items to note, aftermarket parts are not as readily available with the S&W and the wooden grips tended to be slippery in summer matches, even with ProGrip. If you have one, shoot it. Unless the pros are beating you by a few tenths of a second, it will not hurt you. If not, for about the same price of a stock model 41, you can have a fully tricked out Ruger, Browning, or similar.
  23. Charlotte would not be bad. Most of the drive would be interstate and according to Mapquest, would take just over 2 hours from airport to range. Unfortunately I don't know about shipping ammo there. Below is the address to the Clinton House but I would definitely contact someone before shipping it. The Clinton House Plantation 15171 Hwy 56 North Clinton, South Carolina 29325 (864) 833-0274
  24. For airports you have two choices that are about the same distance from the Clinton House: Greenville (GSP) and Columbia (CAE). GSP is about 10 minutes closer and my preferred pick but I would check both to see who has the cheapest rates.
