  1. I love the Grendel when you're sticking to an AR15 platform. Built one years ago which was a laser.
  2. lol! True. There are a ton of great options. The RPR has a lot of great features that didn't exist at that price point before, but the industry is catching up. It used to be that you had to drop $8k to be competetive, but not any longer.
  3. Snipershide is usually the go-to. It's full of a bunch of a_-holes though, so just prepare for that. I wish there was another resource that was as focused because everyone I know would jump ship in a second. Remember that there's probably not another class of shooters who are as anal retentive as the PRS guys. It's probably the most tedious discipline.
  4. Yep, agreed. Couldn't have said it better. Also, take the time to educate your children. Teach them the skills that they don't get in school. Work ethic, how things work, home repair, engine repair, whatever. Just teach them.
  5. Remember the 1st episode? I was hooked when he climbed into the tank. Now it's a lot of recycled plot lines.
  6. 3x? geez... Still need to see this.
  7. Yep, just be careful. This is the way...
  8. Looks great. @txgunarsenal on IG just gorilla glued his on and they were there forever.
  9. I use fresh bacon grease before each range trip. Really does the trick.
  10. Check out the Voodoo Scorpion bag (the bigger of the 2). I have had good luck. It's bigger than I need most of the time, but I always end up carrying extra gear for other shooters, etc. Been my go-to for a while.
  11. I wouldn't normally be stoked about a Holosun, but these are getting really good reviews. Buy with confidence.
  12. The giraud is awesome, but if you can work an on-press trimmer into your work flow, it's probably a better option.
  13. 1050 gets my vote for 50k. That's a ton of work. Hope you have the time and patience.
  14. Just depends on how much you want to tinker. For me, it wouldn't be worth the effort, but others are looking for a project.
  15. Highly recommend the Hornady OAL Length Gauge. It'll take the guess work out of where your chamber is measuring.
  16. Agree, you should take a look at the Redding stuff. I have used the Whidden bullet tipping die for my 6mm 105s for years and it's been quality kit.
  17. Looks nice and that porting is great also.
  18. I learned something today. This will be helpful for my X5 friends.
  19. I am recently hearing good things about the Holosun. The advice you have here is solid. Seems like you're looking for a starter optic.
  20. Gen 2s are fine, but they are just fun range guns. Maybe throw in a get home kit or something. Keltec always makes those weird designs that fit a niche, but build quality is always mediocre.
  21. They're new to the scene. Will take some time. IMO, great build quality, but not really anything crazy innovative here.
  22. That's cool. Hadn't seen that before. I have worked with Gene Shuey before. He's an old timer with a wealth of knowledge.
  23. Amazing. I am usually really late to clean my pistols, so this is good info.
