  1. Titanium comps will erode faster than a steel comp. Dont know if it's to the point they degrade real world performance, but it's something to think about. The Dynamic Resistance steel comp is lighter, shorter, and half the price of the SJC Titan Ti.
  2. I took a hair tie from my woman and wrapped it around the cam wire bracket and the lower spring post of the powder measure. Put in on there 5 years ago and havent had a problem since.
  3. I did. It's been 2 years since talk of "new" reticle. Since then, the "1st gen" is off their website. When you look up the CQ-1X reticle, there's a dead link for the AR-1X. When they announced the XTR-IIs after Shot Show, they were on the website for months before they were released. I always hoped the AR-1X would come out again with a different reticle. It would make me think about buying one again. At the same time, I'm not holding my breath for one.
  4. The fact the AR-1X isn't even on Burris's website anymore should give you an idea of then the new reticle is coming out.
  5. WC844 isnt a slow powder, it's equivalent to H335
  6. you can adjust the cant of the holster so you will be able to make the 2" rule. No issues with durability so far.
  7. The Safariland USPSA kit comes with a metal T bracket. That T bracket bolted right to my blade tech holster. No home made adapter needed. Must have changed designs in the 2 years since this thread.

  9. You could also get some thin strips of Kydex and make little caps for them. Preventing the up/down movement will stop them from falling out.
  10. If you go titanium, keep in mind that it will erode fairly quickly compared to steel.

  12. Am I missing something? The only thing that the scope had to endure was being dropped in grass.
  13. there is someone that makes adaptor plates for ghost mag pouches to run els.
  14. I use 1145fps, 1 1/8oz Winchester AA in mine. Also have used the 1oz Winchester Super X and it worked fine.
  15. there are people who have made a 9mm DI AR. used a normal gas block. 9mm needs as much gas as possible so restricting or bleeding it isn't beneficial.
  16. 1.5-8 reticle is in the first focal plane. If yardage matches at 6x, it matches everywhere.
  17. why custom drill the frame when you could custom drill a mount?
  18. Agree. Spitfire is awesome. the only downside I found is eye relief. At RM3G, they like to make you shoot off some odd props. A reverse roof will make you wish you had unlimited eye relief. It's only been an issue on 1/100 stages and it was an inconvenience at most.
  19. I never screwed mine all the way tight. I'd make the sight block match the slide and add a tiny bit of blue loctite. I didnt see a problem with it holding zero but I wasnt shooting bullseye either.
  20. What is the weight difference in slides between the two?
  21. the 3 gun is everything the limited is but it also has a longer sight radius and a rail so you can shoot night matches. if you want the weight of a full length dust cover, add a heavy guide rod.
  22. I actually prefered shooting the Tac Sport over the Czechmate mainly because I had the Tac Sport longer and was more comfortable with it.
