That sort of thing is pretty unique to this forum.
  2. Good stuff AzS. Wishing you great health in the future! It's funny, I've taken a year off and went finally went to the range on Sun to practice. I was glad to find out that I didn't lose as much as I had expected :-)
  3. $14k is crappy pay for a guy in the top 20 in the division. Zuffa must be greedy as hell.
  4. Agreeed, but I think Randy will be back sometime, somewhere. I'm not sure what Zuffa is making, but it's hard to believe the top guys in the sport are only making $250K a fight. That's chump change for top boxers - and boxing's popularity seems on the decline while MMA is now huge. Sounds to me like Zuffa is greedy and not sharing the $ with the fighters. That makes fertile ground for a competing organization that treats the fighters better. The challenge is that the UFC makes the fighters sign an exclusive contract. What that means is that they can't fight anywhere else until the contract term expires. In White's interview, he kept saying that Randy would not fight somewhere else, "because he's still under contract with the UFC." Until fighters have enough leverage to refuse to sign exclusive deals, then the UFC will continue to own them.
  5. Maybe a worn out recoil spring?
  6. Cool vid and nice reloads. The box to catch the mags is a good idea.
  7. A little late, but Happy Birthday my friend. You truly are one of the good guys! Cy
  8. Paul hit it on the nose. To make it out of B class, you now must learn to believe.
  9. 1968 Camaro. Primer red and not a straight body part on the car. I paid $500 for it in 1983. Very fast - in a straight line The most fun I've had with my clothes on! Two days before high school graduation, a Jaguar coupe rear ended me - cracking the gas tank and smashing the backend.
  10. Try Bill Drills. It sounds counter-intuitive, but try it.
  11. Hi Bill. Try ISMI springs. Bumping for more opinions.
  12. Insightful comment L2S. . . . nevermind . . .
  13. Some of our local clubs have new shooter squads. This is a good idea. We should realize that going to your first USPSA match (which we've all done) is intimidating. It's very easy for some people to get their back up when they are intimidated. New shooters should understand that it's important to leave your ego at home and just learn. When I went to my first USPSA match, I thought I was already a pretty good shooter. I quickly learned otherwise! That realization challenged me. But some people have a tough time accepting that their skills - when compared to accomplished USPSA shooters - are pretty weak. Instead of accepting it and learning and improving - they blame the sport and the shooters. They become "player haters" in order to protect their fragile egos. You can see examples of this all over the internet. I'm not saying this is the case in the linked forum, I'm just saying it's real. It actually takes guts to go compete and get your ass kicked. It's easier to quit and make excuses.
  14. Cochran won't be helping him this time - he's dead. Since OJ doesn't have the wealth he used to, he may not get a Cochran-level attorney.
  15. Agree with all the comments. I've had good luck on BE though. I've actually had sellers ship me stuff before they get my payment.
  16. Thanks tnek - let us know how it holds up!
  17. Looks cool. I like the Weaver sight cut. Anyone have feedback on the comp?
  18. Thanks Kingman. I orginally searched in this forum and found nothing - that thread was in the Open Gun section. Lot's of discussion but no one with may rounds down range with it. I bumped it for any new info.
  19. Bump for any new info and reviews
