These guns were not being sold they were sent out for repair and or shiped to places that we were going to shoot at. My guns only flew with us once this year! One way then sent back with friends! I have shot Double-tap, Space City and Area3 and a least 20 club matches this year with ZERO mag problems using both Tripp and Shooting Star. I will tell you, put more than 8 rounds in the tripp and you will start seeing some funny things. But in competition they work fine at 8 rounds!!!!! I have 8 shooting star and 6 tripp don't buy any others. 40 SS kimber!

Toowide is our club hardass! He is also the one that gives the safety breifing at all the matches. I am still afrad of him!!!!! LOL!!!! Quick note it took 7 years total shooting than i was DQ'd 5 times in 1 year. I am proud to announce It's been 3 years and I am DQ free! Sorry for thread drift.

this brings up a good question. Should a club buy them? Will we see more clubs moving in the direction of FFP's because of less bullet deflection! I like them and would love to replace all of our old PP with new FFP's. But a good point was brought up about not seeing them at a lot of big matches. I was told there will be a lot of them at the nationals this year! Is there a new movement toward them? I would like to know the Pro's and Con's!

Man i am glade i live on the boarder!!!!! Tracy is able to pickup once fired 38 super brass at our indoor almost everyday. Got to love the fact that 38 super is the number one round in mexico. Tracy shoots a 38super and Shea shoots a 9mm both major both work 100%! Shea like watching Mom look for brass! Shoot whatever you want! 9mm if can have a local conection with the PD! Free brass!!!!

Speaking as a club preZ and an RO. What was done by the MD was incorrect You were right on! BUT did you all go over safety and rules before the match? We do at every match with new shooters! If you did not, did any one take them to a bay and explain 180 rules by showing them and explain about cooled ranges after they should have been DQ’d. You have to remember a lot of your LEO shooting matches are hot ranges. I believe there is NO room for safety infractions!!!! But as experienced shooters we need to mentor the new shooters!

[ ITo be honest, Bill Oglesby seemed a bit out of his element while in the company of Jerry and Tom Knapp. Yeah, he does exhibitions, and is a decent shot, but I couldn't help but wish they had lured Bob Munden to round out the cast of "Professional" shooters. +1 It seemed Bill was just lucky! Jerry and Tom did not seem to have to work at it. Bob would have been a lot better for the single action portion.

I have 5 tripp and 7 shooting stars(10mm). I have zero problem with both! Merlin is right about the tripp load 9 and it fails almost every time load 8 and its perfect! I like the tripp because you can take them appart and clean them fast!

Shea, Tracy and I made it out to a local skeet and Trap range today to look around. Ran into a nice man that does instruction at the range named (Steve Schultz) and he let shea shoot an O/U browning. She loves it, took to it without any problem. She could not wait to go again and shoot 5 stand. The guy let her shoot 6 times, she only broke 1 bird and they were all sent from number 3. She was hooked! I guess it doesen't hurt to open her to other shooting sports.
