Awesome match, Team Self had a great time! It was nice to meet Hopalong, Mathew Mink and Clown. I took my 2nd Overall in SS with pride after meeting and seeing Mr. Smith shoot on Friday. Awesome guy! I had more fun watching my 11 year old daughter shoot, then me shooting! I did almost see every amotion she has! Laughing, serious and tears after tanking stage 4 and 5! I did make her feel a little better when Dad tanked stage 5 just as bad! Sharyn, thanks for a nice smooth stage1! A big thanks goes out to DABLASTER!!!!!!! Thanks Manny, all I heard in my head all weekend was prep the trigger!!!!!!

WOW! I wish I had this much passion about SS vs. L10! I just shoot! I don't care! I am trying the new divsion out! SS is just plain fun to shoot! Also a quick note: Don't think it's going to easy in SS. Most of the big matches are only giving overall win and not class win.

Stage design should have nothing to do with it. Every SS guy will suffer the same.

Sending in 3 apps for Area 3 this next week. One of them will be a single stack entry!!!!! Gary are you going to be there? Things I love about SS: 1. Open and Limited shooters leave you alone and don't ask how would you shoot the 32 rounds course.LOL 2. The look on an Open and Limited shooters face when you beat them on that stage!!! 3. It's fun and we need to give it a chance and not kill it after 4 months!!!!!!!!! At a local level we have about 4 to 5 reg. shooters every match. But when we have a single stack match in are area they come out of of the wood work. I have 2 SS match's every year we will have 25 to 30 shooters. Thats a lot for down here!

Tracy and Shea's gun both have sprinco's and have had no problems. Tracy did break a slide in the same place you did, but she was not running a sprinco.

Manny is a hell of a teacher. Get ready learn accuracy!!! He is very focused on trigger control. You will shoot around 1600-1800 rounds in a 2 day course! I know the Houston guys love him and we have had him down here twice. Everyone that has had his class down here loves him!

I hate that good friend and shooting buddy was diagnose with stage 4 lung and brain cancer on Friday. He WILL win his battle I pray! It really shows you how life is so fragile and we need make sure and tell our family how much we love them everyday. It also has showed me how little my problems in life really are at this point! There are some people on the forum that might know Kevin, He’s a big quite guy that loves to be the stats guy!!!! His wife Katie shot at the Ladysmith last year and he was the stats guy at that match! His spirit is very high and he is very focused in beating the cancer! Please Pray For Him!

We are leaving Thursday afternoon, going to drive for 6 or 7 hrs and stop grab a room. See you all up there friday afternoon!!! I love 13 hr drives. Squad 13 rocks!!!!!!!!!! Oh look for the fat guy wearing the Black Sprint hat!!!!
