  1. Chris, My wife (aikiddoGirl) has had that problem for a while. We have finally worked through it by moving more of her finger onto the trigger and also lots of Bill drills. She was slapping the trigger! I do know the biggest improvment was shooting the drills. I hope this helps a little.
  2. Well on brighter note, my wife had load of fun. (Loved being on Squad 8) I still wish I could have been there but now I no why God didn't open up the door for me. I had to put my Mom in the Hospital Friday night. She doing a lot better and should be going home soon! Now back to Tracy and her match! She was extremely happy with most of her shooting except for running the gun dry on every stage which cost a bunch of time. She still ended up 108 over all and 53 in open with a BIG ZERO on stage 3. Had to be the one with the most points!!! Next time she won't be so focused on the mover and run past the 5 targets on her LEFT. She made it though 5 of the 7 stages with no mikes and a total of 11 d's the whole match. We have been working a ton on her pulling the shots and it paid off. Lots of A's, now we can move her speed up! Well I hope we make it to the Lady Smith this next weekend but we just have to see how my Mom is doing. See most of you all at AREA 4!!
  3. Well, Tracy (aka AikidoGirl) made it onto squad 8 and she is happy!! I guess I should be in the reloading room. Nah I will wait till the last moment.
  4. Well you all have fun! I have to work that weekend, but my wife gets to go!!! Tracy (aka AikidoGirl) But I do get to drive 12 hrs the next weekend to WATCH her and my daughter shoot the Lady Smith match! I don't get to shoot in any big match till area 4. Yes I am venting!!!!! She still kind of freaking out about going to a match 7hrs away and not having me there to keep her calm!!! LOL If any of you all get a chance stop by and say hi! She will be on squad 8 or 1 were not sure yet. Good Luck to all of you!!!
  5. Would you all ever use N320 instead of the Titegroup? I have a bunch!
  6. I am using 8.0 gr. of 3n37 with a 108 gr Zero. The load is awesome and my 9 year old daughter loves it, but is it has a fireball from hell and is VERY loud. It doesn't both her at all, just can not get anyone to RO her.LOL Looking for something with less fireball and noise. This load has no recoil!!!!!
  7. My daughter started shooting when she was 8 1/2 at our local club. She started out with a P22 with a C-more on it. She shot her first big match in Dec. at the SA steel match and ended up 3rd in .22 div. I am still having her shoot the .22 just but she will be shooting a 38 super at the Lady Smith match in April. She just turned 9 in Jan. I have never been told by any of the USPSA clubs that she was to young. I don't understand what IDPA see's wrong! Our Jr's shooters are what will carry all shooting sports further down the road. 1st. FOCUS FIRST AND FOREMOST ON GUN SAFETY AND PROPER GUN HANDLING!!! 2nd. Don't except them to shoot well at first. It took 6 months for Shea and then she took a huge leap and now has been in the middle of the pack every week for the last 3 weeks. The greatest reward I have had with her shooting was a Master Class shooter complementing Shea on her safety and her gun handling. He told her it was the best he had seen in a long time. Like some of the others said don't let IDPA get you down. It maybe just that club! But I will say USPSA as far as I know is the only group that does focus on it's JR's!!!!!
