  1. Another Dot to look at is the Alpha by FTP...same mount as the RTS2
  2. My wife and I will be shooting. Gulf Coast, Texas State, Pineywoods and Guardian this year.
  3. UPDATE: I looked under Baret Fawbush and he did show up! 2 matches in 2020....TTTG 11-16-19 and Tri-State Tactical Two Gun 2020 11-21-2020 So I called a serious Tac Timmy tonight, to ask about Fawbush since I have no clue who he is and when you pull him in Practiscore Competitor he does not show up.. My Timmy friend who just made Master in USPSA CO with a AIWB and is a recent 4 division Master in IDPA said the guy is a 100% instagram shooter and that is it! So back on track with the AIWB the guys who shoot them on a normal basis at our matches take some time to safely holster the pistol at make ready! I do think your joe blow off the street needs to spend some time working on holstering and drawing before doing on the timer.
  4. I have been using rifle primers for all my guns for 2 years now, zero problems and very little difference in Chrono speed between magnums and non-mag...400 and 450 is all I buy now! I do shoot only 1911 and 2011's and no striker-fire pistols.
  5. STI DVC limited is legal for IDPA ESP and CO now!
  6. I added the crazy aggressive grip panels! That would be great for daily carry, you would be bleeding after 10 min!
  7. Both my Atlas NYX's passed Tech at a Major, never even a question about the grip! Lots of Atlas in IDPA including the nationals this year.
  8. Officially waiting for my Steel challenge version! Hoping January, we will see!
  9. Shadow 2 Gen 1...Yes there is a Gen 1 and Gen 2 of the shadow 2. Gen 1 was not optics ready and Gen 2 is optics ready. The Shadow 2 Gen2 will not make weight.
  10. So the STI DVC is legal for ESP now? s#!t, I should not have sold my STI Apeiro.
  11. It's a mix at our club. I would say mainly shadows, 320's and 1911/2011 with few glocks! But the crazy thing is CO has taken over our IDPA and USPSA.
  12. June 20th Valley IDPA at Coyote Arms.. Ricardo Quiroga is Match Director! 8:00am Sign up 9:00am Hammer Down 6 stages 108 rounds max https://practiscore.com/valley-idpa-at-coyote-june/register
  13. So, here is the story 2016 or 17 I placed pretty well in my division at Gator. I was ask to help out with the prize tables and while watching the table I noticed on each of the tables a brown cardboard box with nothing on it. I recognized the crappy looking box because my daughter is Pro shotgun shooter and her sponsor provides her with Pilla Sebrings, they come in the crappy cardboard box. I was 7th or so overall and watched everyone grab certs for guns and then it was my turn. The crappy box was right next to a gun cert and I grabbed it. People looked at me crazy until I opened the box! By the way in the 2016 or 17 time frame Pilla was mainstream glasses for the shotgun crowd and Max M was the only Pro pistol shooter wearing them at the time.
  14. Those, glasses are apples and oranges apart. I have Pilla Panthers and they are killer, BUT holy crap almost 900 for the glasses and lens set! I won them at a shoot or I would never own a pair...In the shotgun world they pretty much dominate Sporting clay! Personally the Hunter Golds I have tried have been very nice. Depending on the Pilla's you will have prescription lens or with the Panther you have another set of glasses attached.
  15. I have had mine since he started making it and I would never sell it.
  16. So I had a chance to really look at the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Shadow 2 tonight at our match and wow there is way more meat on the Gen2...By the way the gen 2 weighed in at 46.7 with a dot...The 2 Gen 1's both weighed in under 45!....Just depends what shadow 2 you have if you are going to make weight or not in CO.
  17. Well my shooting partner just bought Shadow 2 Gen 1 that was originally not an optic ready pistol and was done by CZC. His gun makes CO weight, but our buddy who has the Optic ready Shadow 2 will not.
  18. If they increased production to a 140 mag no limits, I could see limited being hit next...Government agency have moved from 40S&W to 9mm and our big 55 gallon drum of 40 at our range is gone and now filling up with 9mm brass! 40S&W will soon be the new 38 Comp brass "good luck finding it"
  19. Our Tuesday, night owl shoots are moving more towards CO. Last Tue we had 7 Limited, 10 CO, 2 Open, 2 PCC and 3 SS...It's been a growing trend for a while and I know 2 of the three single stack guys got there new CO guns this weekend. I am one of the 2 ss guys, my eyes suck and I already shoot ss minor so moving to a dot was next. I have an open but, I am to lazy to pick up my Super Comp brass!
  20. I our area CO has over run production, single stack and Open. Limited is getting thinner also!
  21. Yes you can since kimber only made one brechface at least in their Stainless Target...I have 3 of them and one started as a 40 and I have a 9 barrel in that one now. I put 40 barrels in the other 2. All 3 have 40 and 9mm barrels now.
  22. We are moving the Valley IDPA monthly match at coyote to the 3rd Sunday starting in June.
  23. Belt suggestion is the Double Alpha, got ours in a couple weeks ago and love them.
  24. Just save up some more money and get a Atlas NYX.
  25. Phil, Feb 13th you need to come down!
