I am going to miss him a lot! He was a man of few words but lots wisdom. Hell of shooter and LOVED this sport more than anyone I know! He was one of my great setup crew members and one of my biggest supporters when it was time for club elections! I will miss him patting me on the back telling me it was great match, even when he had just as much to do with it as I did!!!!! God be with you John! My prayers go out to his family.

Damn sleep through my alarm this morning. Made me 3 min's late at work! I love my hottub!

Shot pretty well today, but both Tracy and I felt like hell when we got home. The wife said it's time for some hottubing. Holy crap I am felling awesome! Also could be the Crown I had while setting in the tub. I love my wifes Dr. she said a hot tub was the answer to Tracy's back problems. So she made save the money and made me get one!!!!!!!

I hope you guys find a place in Texas or somewhere close for the SS nationals!

I think for most of us have to have pretty badass wife’s or Husbands (carina) to let us play at this game. It takes a lot of time out of your week to play hardcore. I am just happy my wife got involved because in the beginning it was easy. Now she, I believe takes the sport more serious than I do. It's awesome to get beat by her when I am shooting my best! I think we all need to thank our spouses, and tell them how much you love them! One thing, I got the pretty thing and loves animal things covered, but cooking we have been working on for 19 years! Oh well, I love Luby's !!!!!!!!!!! One other thing she is an awesome MOM to our daughter!!!!

Well we did the same thing. I found that allowing .22 shooters was my greatest influences on the shooting community in are area. We average between 18 and 25 shooters every month for the steel match. Try getting kids involved and you also might get a table at a gun show once or twice a year. One other big thing was our local big club steel match every year seems to bring them in! Tell your members that this is the greatest way to increase your speed and accuracy. Hope this helps!

I hate that our company’s Insurance has cut our Short term Disability’s by 20% but you have the option now to put it back to 100% if you pay a little more money! I hate this time every year because we have to redo our insurance plans. And every year they just take a little more from us and make us pay a little more! I hate that my 2m radio in my car bit the dust. I hate that I have not had the time to take my daughter to go practice or have worked with her to get her ham ticket. (Amateur licenses) I hate that I am not going to fulfill any of my shooting goals this year. I guess you have to practice. I hate that I took a class from Manny Bragg and wanted to quit shooting after that because I fell like an A-class beginner! I did find a lot of my little problems, but it’s kicking my ass trying to fix them! I hate that I have got on a kick to load 10,000 rounds of 40 and 38 super. I hate that I have to find 40 brass, when 6 months ago our indoor range had 100,000 round and scraped it!

As the Prez of our Local club I am not going to be allowing any more Jr. Shooters!!!!!!! I am tired of there behavior! (Not letting there dad's beat them anymore) I am tired of them showing off!! (Being able to hit that low port and jump backup and run at full speed without pain) I am so very tired of them not sharing there prizes with there parents! (Shea's .22 she won at the Lady's smith match this year) Sorry for the tread drift!!!!LOL! Now to the real thought. Write an email to the club prez and ask what there policy is for a new shooter. I then would ask if there is an age limited and if so why! I can tell you that when I got control of our club 3 years ago we had NO JR's! Now I am the first to welcome all new shooters and make a big point to get the young one’s shooting also! We now have 8 kids ranging in age from 5 to 17 shooting with us! If a parent shows up to shoot with there kids I try squading them with my wife and I so we can help them out! I am really sorry this happened and would like to say you all are welcomed in Southern Texas to shoot with us! Oh, Sam Carmoney your blaster is the next one in line! Oh it's going to be killer!!!!! Sorry for the wait. Jr. Shooters ROCK!!!! I would say women shooters Rock, but I am just so damn tired of losing EVERY week to one! OK women shooters Rock too!!!!

John, I have shot in a couple of matches were they put me in the class below my highest Classification, It happened to be when I was shooting L10. I am an A shooter in Limited but I am U in L10 and was put in B class. I was told if I was going to shoot open I would shoot in A class or higher! I would do the same at our club! I still got beat!

Ok, I have a question! If a shooter is reloading and the gun goes off as he puts the mag in but hits the target right in front of him is he DQ'd? I say yes, but he could also say he was taking the shot from retention!( i think thats what IDPA calls it) Target was 2 yards away!!! I saw this happen twice with no DQ but both times the target was hit in the A zone! Thanks

I hate that I have been sick only twice this year and here I am with a damn bad cold getting ready to drive 8hrs to go shoot a match this weekend. Both times have been before a match!
