  1. I put the Corvette comp on my son's rifle, and it is flat and sexy!
  2. Because some of the Aliens don't fall when I shoot them with pistols, shotguns are better suited but don't reach past the back fence, and rifles allow me to get more of them before they are in tractor beam range. Some Aliens do taste like chicken. It is way more challenging, and keeps me shooting long guns.
  3. I am sure some of us from central KY will be interested. I would wonder if they can work all different levels of shooter from D to M in the same class.
  4. I had the same issue at the NTPS Tennessee Tactical 3Gun years ago, went to a steel charging handle and have had no issues since. I even moved that same steel charging handle to my new JP gun for good measure. I use the PRI on my non-competition rifles, and it is solid as well. IMO if you are running a really long tac latch, like the Badger, you should consider the steel one. The real issue is under stress of a jam on the clock, we all torque the charging handle with a gorilla grip, and if you bend it, you just created the jamomatic from hell.
  5. Here is a link to the Progressive button, it is the same as Benelli. http://shootersconnectionstore.com/Prog-Ma...utton-P489.aspx
  6. That is one of the places that I too have fallen off the wagon guys. I used to look at every stage the same as I would if I were at the Nationals. Lately, I catch myself just walking up and shooting, and that is an easy trap to fall back into. If you don't have about 8 people on a squad, it becomes more difficult to prepare yourself as a shooter, and that happens at BGSL to all of us when we are the hosts. Hang in there, you are close to something, and from here it will take practice and focus.
  7. I have used the DPMS 45 rounders with 100% success, but have switched to the Nordic Pmag extensions because they hold more rounds, are way more solid, and just plain feel better to me.
  8. I know someone who can make it prettier for you if you don't already have someone in mind.
  9. The Trojan does have a cast frame, advantage Sentry. Sentry has checkering on the frontstrap, advantage Sentry. Sentry is $400 more, advantage Trojan. Trojan has an undercut trigger guard for a higher grip, advantage Trojan. If I were buying one, I would buy the Sentry because I like the checkering better than stippling, and while it doesn't make any difference, I like the forged frame. I also like that it comes standard with items you have to add to the Trojan, making the difference less than $400. Plus, I have already owned a Trojan, and would like to try a Sentry. There is nothing bad about either gun, they both will run with the right mags, ammo, and springs. They both feel good, and I am with both of them everyday. If you can handle both, then go with the one that fits you best, feels the best to you.
  10. The WILDS is exactly where I plan to stay this fall Bill. We love that place!
  11. Thanks to one of you, I found him, the phone number you provided matched the address he provided. The internet, gotta love it, gotta hate it.
  12. Joel, I have been in a few, considered buying them, and plan to spend the night in one this fall. Next time you see me, I will tell you more about it. The only thing that concerns me as having one for a primary residence, is security when you have to leave it. Mike
  13. Wayne mailed us some money, and an order that needs some clarification, and I have no phone number or email address for him. If you are him, or know him, please have him phone us at 800-387-4045. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
  14. Drive to Kamp Kern and do the 3 hour Zipline Tour from Ozonezips.org
  15. To answer your question, it is the Progressive Machine Quikstripper. Design Concepts is the company that rose from the ashes. We have them for $55 all day long to anyone. I have used them for years, and the spring is a real asset, not in the way. You can also remove it, but once you try them, you will see how nice it is to have it.
  16. Glad we could be the home entertainment center for ya.
  17. Awesome BJ! Congrats, way to go, best of luck. We cannot wait to hear about your progress on this path.
  18. If you want to see them in person Corey, stop by Monday. I have had them for months We sell them as STI, but they are Metalforms, just like Springfield. The little ramp is quite evident.
  19. Because you've always wanted to be one?....Oh, pAWN star...never mind. I like the Lincoln that they put $15K into the interior. Mike - I'll bring down a couple of cameras and we can do our own Fun-store reality show! You might even get it on KET (PBS for you non-residents). But who would be the obligatory "cranky" guy for the show? Chuck of course.
  20. I really don't like reality TV, but I love this show, Pawn Stars! Something cool every episode. They always shoot the guns too, no matter how old or valuable.
  21. I was wondering why I got over 150 of these consecutive and that serial # was missing. I got my birth year, my GF birth year, the sons birth year, and a pistol lower at home in the safe. I bought alot from Jim and didn't get a 69.
  22. Todd, while it is well built, it isn't serrated. The blades interchange easily. I had a guy serrate one for me. The Wilson is .027 taller than the Ed Brown and the STI.
  23. We have these in stock and ready to ship in both colors. If you are on the Enos Forum discount group, the price is better than what has been posted here above. The discount will show up when you add it to your cart. If you are not setup for the discount, then setup your email and password on our site and send me an email to mikef@shootersconnection.com
