Which model(s) ? The Combat AR, Competitive AR, or Adaptable AR? I just purchased one of their Adaptable triggers. Always good to get hand on reviews.

I guess I got lucky with my 507C RMA. I submitted the request of November 12, Holosun responded the next day with an RMA form. After I returned the sight I think it took 3 weeks for the replacement to arrive. It sucks that you went a week with no response.

Check out the pictures of various mounts in this thread: https://www.hkpro.com/forum/hk-reference-library/441609-mp5-red-dots-mounts-co-witness-thread.html

A silver Sharpie is cheap, works well, and is easy to re-apply. I've used every method listed in this thread and they all work pretty well.

Here's a 300 pack for $7. Many other similar options in the beauty/cosmetic section. Amazon Link

This is the most common option for $30: https://www.mcarbo.com/kel-tec-sub-2000-trigger-spring-kit.aspx Anything's better than stock.

You don't see Kel-Tecs at steel matches. Horrible triggers and for the same price you can get a Ruger PCC which seems to offer good performance for under $500. Ruger PCC link You see 99.99% AR-9 style PCCs at steel matches. I did see one Tavor at last year's US Steel Nationals. Also saw a Marlin 9mm Camp Carbine at a local match. If you already own the Kel-Tec, then upgrade the trigger, shoot some matches and have fun.

I use the mag pouches built into the case: Amazon SBR case

For your roll pin set example, I have 2 sets, a cheapo Harbor Freight set which is used more as disposable items, then a good Starrett set like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Starrett-8-Piece-Diameters-Overall-Plastic/dp/B07K7S5F2C You'll also want roll pin setting punches, notice the tips: https://www.amazon.com/MulWark-Gunsmithing-Kit-Corrosion-Resistant-Automotive/dp/B01N1HXR7A/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1549986802&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=gunsmithing+roll+pin+punch+set&psc=1

In USPSA, you want to keep the rifle up near your shooting shoulder. Watch some of the champ's videos for a good view: https://www.instagram.com/maxamundi/

I had a similar issue with my Holosun 507C. I sent it back to Holosun and so far all issues are resolved.

When you get Volume 1 of the Kuhnhausen books, turn to page 167 and review his tool section. If you really want to accelerate your 1911 knowledge, take a class from a reputable instructor like one of these: https://cylinder-slide.com/PClasses https://www.gunsite.com/classes/gunsite-1911-armorer-course/

TOP is OK but doesn't have last round bolt hold open. At least it can't fall out of the lower like the bottom fed versions. BOTTOM does have last round bolt hold open but all bottom adapters are held in place by 1 or 2 screws or rollers. They never stay firmly in place so I would never run a bottom version. DEDICATED does have last round bolt hold open and is held in place by the standard bolt catch. It's easily removed since it takes all of 3 minutes to remove the bolt catch if you want to remove the adapter and run 5.56. I run a Hahn dedicated adapter and years ago I ran a Spikes Tactical bottom feeder. Since all Hahn 9mm adapters are basically the same price, I would get the "dedicated" version.

I bought mine on Ebay. You can get large pieces in various colors pretty cheap. https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=skateboard+tape&_sacat=0&_sop=15

Check out Nic Taylor's 1911 assembly & maintenance videos. They're well done. https://www.youtube.com/user/nictaylor00/search?query=1911

Make sure you know your sight to bore offset at close range. Mine is 3" so the bullet will hit 2" - 3" under the red dot at up close targets. This also comes into play when shooting through ports or sideways around barricades at close distances. Recently I was aiming just above the bottom of a port, forgot about bore offset and had 2 rounds hit the wooden 2x4 that was the bottom of the port. It's easy to forget about bore offset when switching between pistols and PCCs.

I believe the Nordic adapter is proprietary to their NCPCC modular carbine.

I've been using this one for 5 years now and love it: https://www.amazon.com/ProMag-Colt-Magazine-Loader-Black/dp/B005KW45S6 It's around $8.00
