    Triggers- Good God!

I have several Hiperfire 24 C in different PCC's and really like them. No problems for me, yet.

I shoot 147 Extreme over 3.3 gr Titegroup for all my competition guns and was just too lazy to change the formula around. Wanted everything to run with the same combo. It was worth $75 to me to open it up and make it reliable with everything.

I had to send my barrel off to have the gas port enlarged to make my Sig reliable for PF 130 reloads. As others have said had no problems with hot commercial ammo. After the port was enlarged I've had no trouble with reloads. There are several threads around here on this subject.
  5. Go to ebay and search for "snowshooze".

    The Last Kingdom

If you are asking about "The Vikings" it is fine. I have a hard time overall with TV voices but this series is ok. It is violent.

    The Last Kingdom

My wife and I like it also. If you are a reader I really recommend the books the show is based on by Bernard Cornwell. Here is the first one--https://www.amazon.com/Last-Kingdom-Saxon-Tales-Book-ebook/dp/B000FC2RR2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1524950523&sr=8-2&keywords=bernard+cornwell+saxon+chronicles There are over ten in the series now. They are really good. I'm looking forward to the next season. Also, if you like this series then you would enjoy "The Vikings" probably. A lot more brutal action. This series is set in the time period just before "The Lost Kingdom". In fact King Alfred is just a boy in this series.

    Hiperfire 24C Trigger.....

I missed the Primary Arms sale as well but chatted with Optics Planet and gave the info and they let me buy the 24C for $180 with free shipping. Worth a try.

Opening up the Sig MPX gasport

I tried multiple times to get in touch with Taylor and never could. I used ZR Tactical. They were very quick (barrel shipped and back in less than a week) and it works great now where I had a jam-o-matic before with my reloads. Recommend ZR Tactical very much.

    Freedom Ordnance FX-9

Shot one two weeks ago and it is very sweet shooting. Had to share with a friend because my expensive MPX went jamomatic once again. My friend got it on Memorial day and got a few extras when they had it on special over Memorial day. Might wait till the July 4th holiday and they might have another special. For $600 you can't beat it.

    Sig MPX gas port

ZR Tactical did mine very quickly and it made a huge difference. I highly recommend them. Here is a link to the thread discussing it: I tried to get in touch with the gunsmith in Baton Rouge everyone recommended but could never get him by phone or email. ZR Tactical did an awesome job.

Inconsistent neck expansion with Lyman M Die

I think I identified the problem. I pulled the inner portion of the M die out and found the mandril had come partially unscrewed again which of course over flares some cases over time. Put some blue locktite on it and ran about 300 cases. So far so good.

Inconsistent neck expansion with Lyman M Die

Yes, as stated the RT 1200 trim/size die is in station 3 BEFORE the M die. The trimmer has a maximum length of around 1.747 or so (I can't get 1.750 to save my soul due to trimmer moving a bit when turned on). That is the length I set the M die for. A good number of cases are shorter so never get trimmed. Interestingly, I did find the M die mandril stuck in a case I guess from slowly unscrewing with use. Thinking about putting some locktie on it. Another thought I had about this since posting is to get rid of M die and have mouth expansion with a PowderFunnel in the powder die. That has worked very good with pistol rounds. What do y'all think about that?
  14. I have been prepping 223 range brass picked up at matches and have my Dillon 650 set up with a "loading" tool head consisting of partial resizing/decapping in station 1, Dillon RT1200 station 3 and Lyman M die station 5. I have noticed a significant number of cases have the mouth flared too much so that they don't pass the chamber check. I find myself having to reset the M die a fair bit. I suspect the problem is range brass being different lengths and some go further into the die than others causing the extra flaring. Has anyone dealt with this in reloading and should I just not use the M Die for range brass. It sure makes the bullet go in easier when is works correctly. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, M Koury

    Sig MPX gas port

This from their website: If your MPX does not cycle low velocity rounds, we can help out! This service includes removing the gas block, drilling out the gas port (barrel and block), and reassembly. We only need your barrel sent in. We open the barrel to .0625″ port size. Turnaround is 2-3 days.
