  1. Target focus, not dot focus. Sometimes I run into trouble when switching from iron sights back to the dot.
  2. Looks like the new Para has some endorsements from members here. In the past, I said I would never buy another Para again (have a P16-40) because of quality issues, but I am beginning to reconsider and may put the Para back on my list. I'll wait and see what others say when they get one.
  3. Try different ammo. One of my .22 AR's don't like CCI Mini Mags
  4. Try and check if the mag is touching/hitting the ejector. Also check if the mag release fits in the cut in the mag tube (take the mag release out of the gun).
  5. Knowing what I know now, if I were to start over, I would start with Open and stick to only Open. As you said, no other division comes close to Open so for me, switching back and forth to iron sights and the dot would slow down my progress in Open. If I would only shoot divisions with iron sights, then I don't think that would be a hinderance in progressing to a higher class. Switching guns may be fun but I'd rather be good
  6. there are people that do that?!? Even the homeless people I've seen don't do that.
  7. Oh my...I can only imagine what will happen when you do get it..."my precious"
  8. I sometimes shoot my Production M&P 9mm Pro. I forget I need to line up both sights and go too fast then realize I need to slow down a little to get the hits and concentrate on firing the shot to get better (A) hits. It humbles me when I shoot Production. Shooting Production doesn't hurt my Open shooting but I don't know if it helps me..that much
  9. No. All this is doing is making sure that an individual who is not under a magazine capacity restriction does not have an unfair advantage at a USPSA match. That is how I take the new rule as both Chuck's (S and Anderson) explains the reason for this rule. At home, I am exempted from the 10 rd law but only load 10 in local matches to be fair. We have been dealing with this for years and it sucks (the 10 rd law).
  10. Kewl, I know that feeling of a turbo diesel wanting to pull. Got my first diesel truck 7 years ago. Is it a srw or drw version?
  11. Shot the Open Nationals in St. George, UT couple weeks ago and will be heading to Area 2 next. Those 06:50 a.m. starts will be freezing...for me
  12. Was using FP10 (worked fine) then went to try something thicker (Kellube) to keep the lens free of splatter but it was too thick to use on a tight gun and in cold weather. Will now use Brownells Friction Defense.
  13. It works on everything, even small rifle primers
  14. 17 works for me. Tried the 15 but it felt "not as crisp". Plus, I use an extra long firing pin too.
  15. I heard they will be at the nationals in Utah
  16. For me, if the bag has room, I'll end up filling it. I too am curious about the new Dillon bag, looks like a good travel range bag for me because of the smaller size than my Green Mountain bag.

    Great Wife

I see some sort of jewlery, in your future... Seiichi Of equal or greather value
  18. No. Maybe I've been doing it wrong (hand position) all this time, nah but no, wouldn't let him start like that.
  19. And all this time I was thinking I need to add an extra return spring to get the primer bar to return. Good job Canman
  20. I used both and if I had to pick one, it would be 3N38. Because uses less powder so not as messy to load. Not using either of these powders at this time tho.
  21. Adjustable rear sight should dial it in.
  22. In a match with 22 stages, that's a lot of ammo to dump on the ground.
  23. gp79 take a look at this thread, it might help, I use it. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=162927
  24. Happened to me once and that was one time too many. I leave it on.
