  1. Not sure about the 1050 cover but the 650 cover does. They are both the same size case feeder and bullet feeder.

  3. Last time I used 3N37 I was running 7.9gr at 1.165 with 124gr JHP and small rifle primers. Was getting 170pf with full size gun no barrel holes. It will heat your gun up but if you have no other choice it will work.
  4. N320 is in stock at Powder Valley...
  5. With MG 124gr JHP loaded out to 1.165 using 7.0gr WAC I was getting 174pf. With MG 121 loaded out to 1.165 using 8.7gr HS-6 I'm getting 173pf. Haven't ran 121's with WAC so can't help there.
  6. I have both a 550 and a 650. Ran the 550 about 20+ years and decided to get a 650 to run my high volume stuff on. The 550 is a great unit and easy to learn on. The 650 is a little more complicated but will put out a lot more ammo than the 550 in the same amount of time. Caliber conversions cost a little more with the 650 than the 550. Conversion time really isn't that much more with the 650 over the 550 once you have done it a few times. If you have no need to make thousands of rounds per month, don't want a bullet feeder or powder check than the 550 would be the press to go with. If you think you will want to increase your output or add accessories go with the 650. You could also purchase the 650 without the case feeder and be basically like a 550 with auto indexing plus an extra station for later expansion. If I had to live with a 550 I could do it no problem but my 650 with the bullet feeder is fantastic for me. You will have to decide what's best for you. Good luck!
  7. I normally look online for a deal but have purchased them from Batteries Plus in the past.
  8. Your list looks complete. I've never owned or operated a 1050 so no words of wisdom for you there but I have loaded a lot on the 650 and 550. I agree with others, get the parts kit. Even though everything is covered under the warrantee, waiting for a replacement part to arrive is frustrating even though it is free. I have broken two indexing rings, one was my fault for forcing it when I had a jam and the second one was just broken when I went to use the machine. Both times it was covered no questions asked. I don't believer I ever broke anything on my 550 but it doesn't get the use my 650 gets now. As far as having both a small and large complete primer setup never felt the need for that because there really is only one more step involved when changing them out and the is the one screw on the bottom holding the primer disk, change disks and drop in the primer magazine and its converted. I do agree having a spare powder measure assembly is handy, saves you some time of getting your powder charge dialed back in however it's not necessary.
  9. My Edge will run reliably with factory length rounds. I only load long so I have more variety in rounds. My 180gr JHP Montana Gold with VV-N320 powder shoots very consistent and soft loaded out to 1.200. It's just a matter of what works best for you and your gun.
  10. What are you shooting? I wear mine in the front for single stack and production. For open and limited I wear it in the rear since I have mag pouches in the front.
  11. Never broke one but do have a spare in my range bag as well as some springs.
  12. Give it a shot for temporary use and to get you up and running it would work but it may be frustrating at times. Good solid mount is always best but sometime you have to do what works best for your situation.
  13. Containers for your loaded rounds. Some use Tupperware some use the plastic ammo boxes like MTM and others use ammo cans.
  14. Find a new gun builder, preferably a shooter that builds guns.
  15. Congratulations! Looking forward to seeing it Sunday at WVPPS.
  16. I have both a 550 and a 650. The 550 I purchased about 20+ years ago and it has served me well. Today 90% of my loading takes place on the 650.
  17. Mine took 1 week short of a year when I ordered it in 2013. I don't know what the wait time is now.
  18. MrBullet Feeder would be a huge improvement but I would go with the regular one with the collator.
  19. I run my Edge at 1.200 with 180gr Montana Gold JHP and N320 but have shot several factory rounds through it without issue.
  20. U-die worked well for me. I currently have a Case-Pro and with the few rejects I saw with the U-die are no more with the Case-Pro. The big thing that helped when using the U-die was to use Hornady One Shot on the bass. Made it run a lot smoother in my Dillon 650.
  21. 1.200 in my Edge with Montana Gold JHP.
