  1. Where do you find 99% isopropyl locally?? I see 91% all over I assume 91% would work but take much longer to dry.
  2. Grumpyone curious about the silicone spray you you were using. Why did you switch if it was working well?
  3. Just an observation....why some continue using a product if it causes grief when there is an easy cheap fast fix...... (I know the answer Everyone (it appears) praises Hornady One Shot case lube. It is extremely inexpensive, very easy to apply. When used correctly there is virtually no residue on loaded ammo that causes issues.
  4. Not massive. 2k a month coated. I smelt range lead (a ton a year) Cast my own Coat my own Load my own. I shoot and compete indoors; the worst is pin competition with guys shooting lead with Titegroup IMO. I at "14", I get tested annually.
  5. Sarge- I believe you. But isn't the issue he is now trying to remove residue? No residue with One Shot.
  6. I am 6'4" 215lbs and with a stiff gun belt my pants always start to ride down. The fix would be suspenders but that won't be happening... I know this is very subjective....I am caring when I go to stores trying on different jeans but nothing yet...any suggestions? Normal pant size 36w36l for carry 38w36l
  7. Poor clean brass on cookie sheet, spray with Hornady one shot (lasts forever). Your done!!!! Load and forget...it is not rocket science, don't look back....
  8. Ahhhh yes... Load data weak on net... All I have loaded so far is coated Lee 95gr. FP coated 5.1gr. 1.02 oal 126PF S&B primer Working on Berry's 124 HBRN
  9. Agree but you can get additional belling by adjusting the powder drop....
  10. I think SWC can be the most sensitive to feeding issues (OAL). I have a Lee 105gr. SWC I am working on to get to feed in my CZ SP01 Shadow....
  11. I gave up my powder check and use a M-die in place of it. Then back off doing any belling by the powder drop. Very happy.
  12. The majority of hiccups on a 1050 for me are not the cause of the 1050. It is a random SP 45acp, a 380acp that slipped through my sorting... Keep it clean (easy), it runs. I have LNL AP and I need to sell it as I never use it...it is so different I just get bad memories. It is a good rig but not a volume machine IMO, BUT I AM SPOILED.
  13. I am not a fan for minor loads. I like it for hotter loads. I find it to have recoil impulse similar to Titegroup.
  14. Great. Comes in handy on my 1050 when I am building up my stash.
  15. If that piece of tubing lasts 100k that seems like good engineering.
  16. Size? I would take the slide with me. Vent tubing for a dirt bike would work too.
  17. I run on a 1050, but I give up powder check for a M-Die. I eliminate sticking brass due to the Dillon expander contacting the water tumbled brass (with clean interior) during belling the case mouth. I cast my bullets and use Hiteck coating, the Mdie gives me my proper neck tension with minimal working of the brass. I look at my powder levels while loading. On some calibers I use a powder check and use the M die in the swager station.
  18. With Lee cast coated 130gr. I load 9mm at 1.1 OAL 7.5gr. AA7 for 147.5PF (1135fps) I would start at 6.5 to 7.0 grains with 124gr. Bullets at 1.30 oal.
