A 9mm WWB store bought takes them off cleanly if you hit clean center mass. There is drawbacks to 45acp 255gr. Like splits suffer. But of center hits, or clubs that reuse pins that have 5 lbs of lead in them.......255s pick your powers wisely, for least recoil. Seriously.

The other day at the range with hammer down I pulled the trigger and the hammer moved just a bit then whatever grabs the hammer lost it's connection and hammer fell back down and trigger came back with no resistance. it worked ok once or twice out of 15 pulls, now I have no movement of the hammer while trying to execute a DA trigger pull. SA works fine.... Stuart did the trigger job a few years ago but the gun has low round count since the trigger job, maybe 5K possibly 10K but doubtful. This has been only a range toy. I have never pulled the sear cage but I am cabable (done Apex triggers on M&P's, and trigger jobs on 1911's). I would like to fix the long pretravel ant the same time I fix this issue... I hope I don't lose my 2lb SA/5.1 DA (Same springs in it that Stuart put in).... Guys what is the suspect part? Hammer?

İ ran CFE Pistol in an XDM and liked the accuracy even though i did not need it for pins, the splits were too high for me when i pumped up to 200-210PF with the 255s, had better luck with 200s and n310 at 184pf. Much faster splits, but when the pins lead up use the 255s, momentum is your friend then.

Longshot got me into the high 900s a few hit 1000fps. I find WSF is my go to powder. A buddy is a LS fan so i tried it.

Did he have any chrono data for 4.1 WST?

I am betting it will not be a Super 1050 killer.

I made my tumbling much easier as some others have done, by NOT using pins. If you you are not removing the primers no need to use pins.
