  1. Before my phone did correction- I am sure this is over simplification...
  2. My coated bullets produce the most FPS per grain.
  3. IMO (No rocket scientist) you have 2 separate variables. Good/Bad seal High/Low friction. I am this is over simplification...
  4. Less friction due to the coating.
  5. Clays with 124gr. And under. For bunny farts.....
  6. My powder for 165's is WSF. My OAL is 1.140 for a CZ Shadow. I have pushed very hot (Major) with very linear chrono data.
  7. I lubed mine before, not sure it helped much. Lift ram a few inches then loosen the 2 flathead screws on the left and right side as u stand in front of the press. Head pulls off. Pop erings or cringes off the bottom end pull shafts, remove.
  8. Pull the ram handle at halfway point, then manually turn shaft by the index wheel that normally the pals move. With plate removed it should be smooth, if not then I guess u need to disassemble and lube internals.
  9. You guys covers the full spectrum. Slow for me now. On a 1050 I am at maybe 1k
  10. Dillon recommends grease on main ram tube. I use a few drops of Mobil 1 applied with a Qtip. That is a noticeable decrease in friction.
  11. Pull it out to the next notch, see what you think. I run mine all the way in. Run a 1000 rounds then re-evaluate is my suggestion.
  12. First, there are 3 different points to choose on your lever. Where is yours set? All the way in?
  13. Trying to unlock the Hornady lock rings to make an adjustment is too tight on a 1050 toolhead.
  14. Well I have a 1050 and just want to say IMO forget the Hornady rings, the flats suck...I like the small RCBS, if the Lyman are the same size as RCBS and lock by not going into die threads that would be best...
  15. Turret. 100% uptime. Hone your reloading skills. Pro1000 may run may not. At your stage half your time will be fiddling on the press. The turret u will keep and use forever....
  16. Us lead shooters can load them just fine on a Dillon (S1050), but the bullet gets swaged in the process....if I remove the powder check and install a M-Die problem solved....I would like the option of having the Dillon powder funnel do what the M-Die does...have funnels available ad an option to buy.
  17. Thanks much...us 1050 guys were looking for that stamped letter. If Dillon would now make a powder funner for loading lead bullets think M-Die
  18. So ChuckS do you agree with Dillon? I see you have 6.5K posts is why I ask.
