  1. A few other things you might want to try. If i color the montana gold bullets black with a a felt pen it helps for less errorious readings. Lastly if im still having trouble getting good readings I will turn the chrono sideways away from the sun so the sensors face the side berm.
  2. It looked like a shock buff but wasn't sure. not that I know its not we dont have to give him hell for runing a buff.
  3. That seems awefully expensive...did you shop around? Lastly are you obligated to use the same guy that suplies the club with plaques? Also to cut down on the initial expense, I would only pre order plaques that I know would be needed. (i.e. don't order a 3rd GM in Revolver division). Base your order on last year match and if you have to order one after the fact that is usualy no big deal.
  4. dang thats a long list....its kinda ironic that many of those actors listed there have had roles in shoot em up bang bang movies.
  5. A trip to the hoover dam is not complete until you eat a Dam Dog...

  13. well your in luck...., dawson offers a konig hammer, c&s sear, c&s disconneor and sear spring and main spring as a combo. no need to think twice. combo deal
  14. Grand Cherokees have been crap since their inception. Sorry to hear that yours has been especially crappy. Jeeps arn't the only one that chew up the front brakes very fast. Ford Escape and Focus are know for it as well, however the brake lining is so agressive that it will wear down the rotor below its minimum thickness requireing it to be repaced as well. Customers have a hard time forking out 600 bucks for a front brake job at 15k miles. Before you go with the Pillot. I would recommend test drive the Ford Explorer with the 4.6 v8. It has some serious power. And whatever vheicle you choose, if you plan to keep it well past the manufactures warrenty, It is a very wise idea to purchase the manufactures extended warrenty. Aftermarket warrentys usualy have less coverage and you may have difficultys getting claims paid.
  15. Man, I read that title and chringed big time. Well if you feel ok loading Clays to major, n310 isn't that much further up the chart. I heard of people using n310 with 155g bullets not 180g. I coulden't tell you where to even start, but start low and work your way up. Personally I woulden't do it unless I knew for sure the outcome would be ok. Maybe Brian could get Rob to comment on this one.
  16. If you don't mind the muzzle sticking out of the bottom of the holster, any that fit a standard sti/sv should work. Blade Tech and Uncle Mike's are good choices
  17. I also know that there is a tread out ther that describes how pin the grip saftey by wedging a piece of shock buff between the grip saftey and main spring housing. Mine is done in a similar fassion. My smith welded a little "pad" on the grip saftey to contact the mainspring housning which keeps if engaged all the time.
  18. I have a couple of 10 round sti mags, one in 38 super and one in 40, they are piles of crap. Cutting coils wouldn't do any good because the tubes have horizontal groves pressed in the middle of the tube to keep the rounds going down any further. Sometimes if you slam the fully loaded mag into the gun it causes the follower to get jamed in those groves. But jhgtre is right they don't want you to even come close to geting an 11th round in.
  19. All you really need is a little lube. Also make sure that the assembly is centerd. To do this loosen the primertube screws, push the handle forward and center the primercup in ther hole in the turret, make sure the bearing plate is up against the frame and tighten the screws. They only need to be snug.
  20. Lots of people like the oakley boot. oakley boot
  21. I use: " If you are finished, prepare for the next string." plain and simple

  23. You can try and work the snap ring around using two small screwdrivers or picks, but a 5 dollar pair of snapring pliers might be worth it.
