  2. I did this the other day. same sicneario 1/2 can of mixed powder in a coffee can. mostly n320 and n350. at an amrs length away I light match and droped it in the can. OMG!! a 10 foot colum of flame for about 5 seconds! Neighbors called the cops... i just now rememebred this thread... Ive burnt the same amout of powder in a pile and it was no where near as impressive.
  3. Another bennifit of the moly coated bullets is that you dont have to have wax in the gas checks as with traditonal lead bullets. It really cuts down on the smoke and crayola smell. The majority of the smoke from lead bullets is the burning wax. I use bear creek bullets in my 45.
  4. I think that would take away from the comfy feeling. unless you move alot when you are straining Rhino said that the skateboard tape is needed on the floor(not on the seat) for extra traction in those tense moments.
  5. correct me if I'm worng but that seems as if that would attract more grit and make it stick?
  6. The part I think he is talking about is # 13845 on this page. http://www.dillonhelp.com/rl550benglish/au...r_schematic.htm It sometimes can fall out when switching the powder measure over. Thats why they warn you to double check to make sure that it is there in the instructions.
  7. your post is a little confusing. Did you buy 3 caliber conversons or 3 powder measures? The powder measure is the hopper and slide bar assemby that sits ontop of the powder die and are not caliber specific. Caliber conversion includes the shell plate, powder funnel and locator buttons. The white sleeve you are talking about comes with the powder measure and ususaly stays in its place. If you turn the powder measure over and look in at the bottom around the tube in the middle it should be there. The sleeve helps center the tube in the housing. I bought a new powder measure a few months ago and it had one. Chances are they are there and you are just not seeing it.
  8. If its a barrel with a fluted chamber its common for the brass to have marks from the flutes. The brass is doing what it is suposed to do, expand in the chaimber. What do to the primers look like? Did the factory ammo leave these marks?
  9. don't forget over $100k in the last 11 matches.
  10. wanna talk about a rude forum...pirate4x4 this one takes the cake. Even if you no automotive or offroading knowledge, its worth a quick look to see how awefull this forum's members treat each other. Ever topic is a friday flame fest.

  19. who knows what could happen to that smorgasboard of chemicals on that top shelf. Or an electical fire could erupt form that one outlet behind the press. follow the cords form the bench grinder and the tumbler. That outlet also powers light above bench and garage door opener.
  20. but the price was nice. It was my first sizeable prize that I won. So I had to put it on. Here a saying we used at the hod rod shop I use to work at..."Chrome don't get you Home" and or "if it don't go, crome it" The fastest cars we worked on were the uglyest.
