  1. Mines 4-5 years old its gone back 3 for upgrades, never got charged
  2. Cool i need to rebarrel my old super to 9 and have been looking everywhere for a hybricomp barrel
  3. Check the Firing pin, the last time I saw that I had a Ti firing pin in the gun, swapped it out with a extra long one and the problem went away, or did a good job of hiding it
  4. With enough time and money practically anything is possible but the question is who’s going to put up the time and the money to see if it sells
  5. Thanks for the heads up my mailman’s gonna hate me again
  6. I made mine out of a 50AE case, drilled out the bottom and used a hacksaw to cut a couple of slots in the extractor groove, attached a clear vinyl tube that empties into a old powder jug on the floor that I drilled a half inch hole in the lid for the tube i have no idea how many spent primers are in there, but it weighs around 3-4 lbs
  7. Another check to do Disassemble the frame, leave in the trigger, mag catch and grip point the frame down, and press up on the trigger, then release it, does it drop down on its own, if yes then proceed to step 2, if not, it’s hanging up somewhere in the grip frame 2. Insert a empty mag and repeat, if it does good, if not it’s hanging up on the mag 3. Repeat the above with a fully loaded mag, again if it drops down on its own, then your problem is something else, if it doesn’t it’s hanging up on the mag
  8. I have a double star on a rifles, it’s comfortable to hold and the one thing it does very well is retain heat on a long 3 gun stage it does get quite warm, I ended up wrapping it in paracord as a insulator
  9. I’ve been hit in the face with unburnt powder shooting my pcc while shooting off my left shoulder, that’s the reason I use a 9mm dust cover with a debris shield
  10. I sit because That’s how the guy who taught me to reload did it i have no problem running my 650 while sitting, one thing I did notice when I switched from my 450 to a 650 was it did require a little more force to on the down stroke, lubing the cases solved that i sit on a office chair with caster wheels and have no problem sizing, seating primers, looking in the cases for powder etc, and I can tell my case feeder is getting empty because it’s quieter
  11. Powders, no bullet weight, yes in slow fire i once shot a production match and was running out of ammo, I brought what ever ammo I had, bullet weights from 115 to147 loaded some mags with 115s others with 147, and others with 124, had a few mags with all 3 loaded and I didn’t notice the difference once the buzzer went off, watched my sights, pulled the trigger
  12. New precision delta code BF1810 good for 10% off
  13. Safariland 771, old school but I’ve yet to find a pouch I like better
  14. The mount is a hueing carbon fiber mount, I remember there was a mounting plate that had to be attached to the frame i wouldn’t get to attached to the propoint, it will break soon, but on the plus side that blue line on the back may mean it was bullet proofed by Dr. Dot or somebody just put a blue line on it on the inside of the dust cover are you asking about it looks like the screws were dremeled flush with the frame, it’s not the best way to do it, but it works i would look at getting the optic changed, I seem to remember hueing had his own hole pattern, you might luck out and have a c-more pattern mount work, or you may have to get a black mount and have a gunsmith custom drill it
  15. Titan yours was cut back, the frames as they used to come, that ledge was straight and every round and the follower would hit hit it
  16. Easy, buy a drop in cartridge trigger group from the manufacturer of your choice dyi, cut the hammer spur off the existing hammer to lighten it, and use the jp yellow spring, and pay attention how the springs go on the hammer, it’s easy to put them on backward
  17. I built a caspian limited gun and had feeding problems that drove me nuts until I read a post on 1911 forums that solved it on the caspian frame at the very top of the mag well there is a shelf that stops the mags from being over inserted, and yes you cannot over insert a mag in a caspian on my supers the rounds clear the shelf, but the fatter 40 rounds and the follower would hit it causing misfeeds, 2 minutes with a sanding drum in a dremel to contour the shelf to clear the rounds solved it the last caspian frame I got has the cut already made, I guess they read the same post
  18. I don’t use that screw, I stripped it out years ago also i use the bracket that came with the machine to hold the feed tube if you don’t have a case feeder I attach the feed tube to the bracket, and align the case feeder to that
  19. The first thing to find out is what hole pattern the mount is, if it’s a c-more pattern then you’re good to go, if not you’re ether drilling the frame or finding a blank mount and getting it drilled as far as a red dot, go with a mini Red dot sight, a rts 2, DPP, trijicon RMR, if you can, go to you club and ask to to look thru all of them and pick one as far as super vs comp, your gun may work with both, it might work with super or it might work with comp, the only way to find out is to shoot it the biggest advantage of comp brass is that it feeds better, but regular super is cheaper
  20. I use loaded mags ive been doing this long enough to have a couple mags that I’ve just flat worn out, those stay loaded all year round with dummy ammo i used to use empty mags with 1dummy round, but the balance and feel was different and the amount of force needed to seat a empty mag verses a loaded one is drastically different
  21. A hybrid barrel will not slow the slide down, all the ports do is vent gas straight up, which In turn forces the muzzle down by cutting the slide for the hybrid barrel, you’ll have remove a huge chunk of metal and lighten the slide which will increase slide velocity a better solution would be to get you gun magnaported, where they edm cut straight through the slide and barrel that will minimize the weight reduction on the slide and still vents gas up to drive the muzzle down if that doesn’t appeal to you, then find someone to build you a carry comp for your project, it’ll be more effective than a hybrid barrel, without having to deal with a lightening a short slide
  22. Big +1 fantasic match fun stages that looked easy but sucked you in to shooting too fast great staff unreal prize table the rio salado club as always did a great job

    Mini boom

Could it be firing out of battery I’ve picked up 9mm brass fired out of a glock that passed a case gauge, and from what I’ve seen glocked brass seems to a problem with 40 not 9
  24. I’ve used oneshot and used to tumble my loaded rounds after to get off the waxy residue, lately I’ve been using Lyman spray case lube, it is absolutely rubbish on rifle cases, but for pistol it’s fantastic it leaves the cases feeling slick without the waxy residue, and I no longer tumble after I reload the only thing I don’t like is it takes a while for it to dry, if I’m Planning to reload tomorrow, I’ll lube the cases today
