  1. I’ve used oneshot and used to tumble my loaded rounds after to get off the waxy residue, lately I’ve been using Lyman spray case lube, it is absolutely rubbish on rifle cases, but for pistol it’s fantastic it leaves the cases feeling slick without the waxy residue, and I no longer tumble after I reload the only thing I don’t like is it takes a while for it to dry, if I’m Planning to reload tomorrow, I’ll lube the cases today
  2. On My vibaprime I cut the stock tube to about 2” long and use the clear vinyl tube to connect to my Dillon primer tubes
  3. I notice the difference between a 6 and a 8 moa dot i have 2 rts, one with a 6 the other with a 8, I much prefer the 8 if the Romero 3 came out with a 8moa dot, they may have a winner
  4. I just replace the cp buff that’s been in my open gun since March, maybe 6k rounds fired, it could probably go another 6k with no problem I only replaces it because I’m going to Area 2 next week
  5. Total tear down every 1000 rounds or when I’m bored, my ocd doesn’t let me just field strip and clean but other than that the only thing I clean is the lens of the c-more after every outing
  6. You’re wrong the Hawaii law states all firearm brought into the state must be registered with the Police within 5 days of arrival there are no exemptions for civilians and only differences between a firearm that you bring as opposed to one you get from a FFL is you don’t have the 14 day waiting period
  7. Loctite red 271 I've removed them without heat, use a Allen bit that is basically new in a screw driver handle, and apply strong downward pressure don't use a Allen wrench and every time you remove a screw, replace it with a new one, if you don’t you will round out the hole
  8. The pocket pro timer 2 has an adjustable sensitivity setting, ours are turned up pretty high for the pcc shooters
  9. The best way is to ask your squad how they want it done for supercomp spend the extra $20 a k for nickel plated brass, it's easier to find on the ground or in a pile of brass i scan the ground as I walk to reset targets and the nickel cases stand out from the rest
  10. Race holsters are allowed in open, limited and L10 back in the day safariland owned the race holster market, now there’s many more choices our there look for one that’s is adjustable in height, and cant, and has a retention lock so your gun don’t fall out when you’re walking around and ditto on reading the rule book the basic rules are still there, some have changes, some are gone, some are new It’ll be better to understand the current rules, than to rely on how the sport used to be And to answer your question the safariland 014 is legal in limited
  11. I can’t speak about Everglades but precision delta were much more accurate thru my guns than Montana golds they also used less powder the reach the same velocity
  12. No i sent an old one back to c-more for repair and they said they couldn’t fix it Because the newer one had a design change
  13. Bigboy I was pushing 180 PF with the blues 125’s to get the dot to track how I like instead dropping my powder charge, I dropped my bullet weight to 115 blues, it dropped the PF to 172, and the dot still tracks the same
  14. Agreed I'm not as fast as I used to be, and when ROing the young guys my major concern is getting out of the way I’ve seen ROs trying to stay close to shooter on a backwards moving stage and get run over, trip and fall or run into a wall trying to get every shot. Depending on the stage after I give the start signal, I’ll give the shooter a 10-15’ cushion or I may run to the rear fault line for my safety
  15. My p320 mags wouldn’t fit in my safariland 9mm double stack mag pouch, the 320 mags are a bit to big to fit
  16. Is the series 80parts still in the gun? If yes check Is the firing pin plunger present if no, then what may be happening is the upper series 80 arm is going into the plunger hole and stopping the slide from moving
  17. I got railed for say this, it to me the 24e felt mushy the best analogy is it feels like a glock trigger with a shorter take up and reset, a buddy pulled out his 24c from his AR9 the same reason and replaced it with the CMC
  18. I installed the cmc AR9 trigger in my psa lower and it dropped in at 2.5 lbs its not as crisp as my JPs but a huge improvement over my hyperfire 24e, now off to the range to test fire
  19. Check that your bolt catch is not rubbing the rounds in the mag pull the top end off, and insert a loaded mag, the front of the bolt catch should clear the rounds in the mag, if not file the nose of the bolt catch until it clears the rounds, but still engages the lock back tab on the follower
  20. I’m running the Blackhawk latchless larger than stock, totally ambidextrous, and has gas block like the much more expensive charging handles
  21. 115 blues pushed to 1500fps one trick I read here is to coat the inside of the comp with kroil after every shooting session it creeps under the gunk and the next time you shoot, it gets blown out
  22. Anyone else having problems signing in I've tried several time and it keeps say my user number and password don’t work
  23. The CMC AR9 trigger is on sale at primary arms https://www.primaryarms.com/CMC-AR-9-Drop-In-Single-Stage-3.5lb-Curved-Trigger-9mm-Mil-Spec-.154in
