holster for g34 g35?
EkuJustice replied to thebrooklynbullet's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
The ALS is very easy to use and the gun isn't coming out when you don't want it to. Ran one for a 34 I borrowed to try for the Priam and the draw is still quick. -
I would go a skeet choke as its cheaper than getting spreaders.

Yhm has smooth ones

I lock mine when im walking around, or any time its a non standard start position ie chair, "bed" etc. If it is a stand and draw I leave it unlocked for the start. The lock is so easy to engage its not worth dropping a gun for the hair slower draw if any from a seated or laying down start.

Not a fan of them especially on the clock. The shooter is responsible to know how to work the guns they bring and shouldnt be required to use a new gun/platform they arnt comfortable or know how to operate. If your useing one make sure it is one you dont mind getting abused as alot of shooters arnt going to be gentle with it especially if its not theirs ie dont bring out your nice transferrable and think the shooter will baby it because its expensive

what happened to the one on the gun or are you looking for a brand new one ie did the old one break

There is no way to say unless you check it. Some barrels have more of a spread than others -
3-gun Rig - Open Division, what am I missing?
EkuJustice replied to Tactica's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
For the pistol there really isnt a set answer of how the gun starts. some can be on the belt in holster loaded, unloaded others it could be staged either loaded or unloaded. In 3 gun I have never seen a mandatory reload required in a match. I would run the holster locked unless its a draw and shoot stage. If your bottoming out the bipod looks like you need longer legs. For open the bipod is more stable than 2 coupled mags monopod(some matches this isnt allowed). I have one monopod setup for tac iron which has the arredondo rounded bottoms on the mag for a better monopod. -
Rifle mag pouch: Bullets to front or rear?
EkuJustice replied to shuter's topic in Rifle - Technical
I Just use an extended mag with enough rounds for the stage and really only keep the mag on the belt for an emergency. If I do aucually use the mag pouch over just throwing it in back pocket its bullets to the rear for a 30 rounder and usually farther back along the back. If There is a need to do a reload on the sgage or I have to shoot where a smaller 2o rounder is needed I run bullets forward near the front. With the 2o rounder you can index it just like a pistol mag. -
For an open gun, its really either magfed or xrail. If I ever go open for 3 gun im going with the xrail as I like shooting a more conventional style shotgun where I can use a bead and have a good cheekweld
-
it isnt requiring more than 8 rounds to be fired without a reload you can shoot more than 8 rounds with out a reload though

Noveske k9 and similar accessories?
EkuJustice replied to silverphoenix's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
looked at one and you basically just push into it and shoot. if the barricade is stable it works great -
If your bushmaster is a post 1994 lower, then I would build in that. If it is a Pre 1994 lower, I would sell it to someone in a ban state and buy a new lower of your choosing as the pre 1994 lowers sell for a pretty good premium in states that still have a ban in place as it allows them to build one with all the evil features. Lowers now can be had for under 100 easily

no there are changes to the lone wolf slide that are not on a glock slide such as the front serrations. It is good in limited/limited 10/open though

The vast majority of the shooters would still hit the thumb safety on when dumping the pistol. My guess is the question would be more for the thumb safety getting knocked off while putting it in the box. If the 1911/2011 "primary safety" needs to be engaged then Glock's "primary safety" ie trigger safety should have to be engaged also. To date, I have never seen that checked in 3gun

3-gun Rig - Open Division, what am I missing?
EkuJustice replied to Tactica's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
How is the lock on that holster? In 3 gun with the amount of movement etc make sure the holster has a VERY good lock on it. -
I disagree on that, if its a safety issue I feel its your obligation to bring it up. If its something like this where there is a way to shoot it other than Intended I don't think there is any duty to bring it up. In my mind gaming is just part of this sport.

In my opinion throwing out a stage that someone figured out how to game that does not create any safety issues etc for the sole reason that someone figured out a way to shoot it better than someone else is kind of a cheap thing to do. The option to shoot it that way was avaliable to ANYONE else if they would have thought to do it the same way. The better you know the rules, the more closely you examine the stage description, the more creative you can get on your approach to shooting a COF

the handguard tool isnt needed. If you cant do it yourself, an extra set of hands makes it easy one pulls down on the delta ring the other person removes the handguard. For a shop or smith planning to do a bunch of them ya they arnt a bad thing to have but not needed for a person swapping out his own
