  1. Dawson extended firing pin and 17 pound Maln spring
  2. if they allowed major smaller than 40 then the 40 caliber guns would be outdated overnight
  3. spikes h2 buffer will slow it down and smooth it back
  4. That's not ky lingo you made no mention of bourbon
  5. Then people would complain its too high and cause everyone gouges. It is avaliable at current market rate on gunbroker etc but no one wants to pay a buck a round for xm193 rifle ammo. It's like primers were 4 years ago it was ration them at a couple thousand at a time and people could get them at reasonable prices or let it be a free for all and one person buys everything and places it online for 80 a thousand. The only person who wins then is the guy who bought them all. The dealer lost because heade his Normal markup only and has nothing left to sell to get people to come in and the user lost as he either goes without or pays 80 per thousand when he could have made due for a bit in his 2k and found more when those were low
  6. Buy a std hunting length and add a longer tube. With the majority of matches going 8+1 at the start the longer barrels are becoming more and more popular as there isn't a need for a short barr and a huge tube
  7. If you want magnification check out the Burris tac 30 or millet dms. I went with the latter due to liking the single dot and circle. If you wanna shoot the tac iron ie no magnification check out the leupold prismatic
  8. Run the Dawson big hand here as it dosent hit the hand like the std Dawson does
  9. I think a little tighter is needed for steel than for Clays. I just use a modified and run with it as u would rather have too much choke than not enough
  10. for the mag extentions i like the dawsons as they are easy on easy off and get me 20 rounds in the mag. For the trigger, I have used a vanek and a glockworx fulcrum and like the fulcrum a little better but its pricey. a connector and springs can get it decent without alot of coin. Magwell, go either dawson on SJC. The SJC is definately bigger than the dawson. I have a modified mag release in one where I took a extended one, rounded it over and put a radius on all the edges and run it as a mid length. Its plety easy to hit and wont drop mags when you dont want it to. I actually prefer the 6 in and have a 6inch sti and the glock 24 as a backup
  11. Dawson adj rear an solid black custom front. Sjc magwell and a rounded off and shortened mag release basically a mid length
  12. Versamax as I prefer the gas operated gun over the recoil operated gun
  13. The gun will work fine The thing you need to match up is make user you have the correct buffer I'm the correct tube You can run a rifle buffer with a 16 inch barrel and a carmine on a 20 inch
  14. You had curb side service last year and no pasting Duties after your fall last year AT. Even though we were down one resetter we still burned through resetting ti the point we had to push and shove to get a target to paste That's how the lex squad rolls
  15. There are basically 2 different tube sizes. If its a fixed stock like a2 etc its gonna have a rifle tube and uses the longer rifle buffer. If its a short collabsible or carbine length tube then it uses a carbine buffer. The barrel length dosent dicated the buffer length the stock tube does. If your concerned what you have post a pic of it and we can let ya know
  16. At least they had some avaliable. With the climate now the primers are all allocated and its hard to buy many at a time. They are doing what they can to make sure there are enough to go around. Better to let everyone have a couple thousand than the first person there buy everything they have and sell them himself unless your the first person in to buy them
  17. On the gas block, one way to help with that is to dimple the barrel for the set screws to have a little more to hold to. It is also a good idea to use loctite when installing the screws. Another way is to sent it to someone like adco or a smith and let them install a pin through the gas block to make it pinned then it is NOT going to move on you unless you remove the pin. My favorite is if the barrel comes with a front sight is cutting the tower off and using it as a pinned low profile. Its cheap and the most secure
  18. ramped barrel, front strap stippling as well as being texas built for the trojan
  19. carbine length is not mid length. You can find the following combinations 16 inch carbine and mid length (rifle length too but rare and dosent always work) 18 inch mid length, rifle length 20 inch rifle lenght
  20. There is no luck in it if you know how your gun patterns. Thats why I use the flight control on all the paper targets is I KNOW its hitting how I want it to
