  1. I have one that is TIGHT to the point you need a punch to push the rear pin. Others that are are on the loose end. On those I put an accuwedge in them and they are very tight for like 5 bucks
  2. Race master can be locked and unlocked very easily and it isn't hard to unlock it on the draw fast if you need to start locked ie chair start laying down Etc. you don't have to worry about jumping up from a bed start and your guns left there
  3. II would let a smith work on it for the best trigger. I have had a friend if mine do all my triggers at a crisp 2 pounds or less. He usually uses extreme engineering parts in alot if them he does and was getting like 40 bucks for the regular rate
  4. Cr speed has nowhere near the most secure lock and can be drawn through the lock. The race master when locked is not coming out without breaking the trigger guard off. The cr might have been the way to go back in the day but there have been plenty if better holsters since then come out
  5. Never stop or worry about holes in a target. Shoot and keep going and deal with it later
  6. If you can find them the 95 grain bullets with a heavy charge keeps the comp working and is a nice minor load for steel
  7. I agree in making up rules flat rate is the common way for. Brass and bullets
  8. Yes dawson no gap uses their pads. I use the regular Gap dawson and use the factory pads
  9. I'm the opposite. I live the rm lock. I hold the gun and flick the lock down with my finger. If I need to start locked its easy to sweep it off. My holster is not tight at l
  10. Use the race master here. I have no issue holster in the gun at all. It took me a little bit to get use to holstering it due to being new to the race holsters but the lock is solid. If you plan on using it for one type gun use the racer and save some bucks. I went racaster as my primary is an sti with a backup glock. So one holster does both with a couple min and 40 dollar block swap
  11. That's why I run a plane bcg. Just don't see the benefit in it especially with that short of a life.
  12. Hard chrome will be extremely tough is look at all the guns with it that are heavily used. For something like the takedown pin there is no quality issue with dpms parts.
  13. How often are we doing standing unloaded starts where we have no movement before shooting.i went right as it allowed me to use the mount I wanted and not have to heavily modify a racker and or sight to do so put it on. It also adds the minimal amount of weight back to the slide as opposed to the long extended one on the left. With practice you aren't giving up much to the left side mount. My gun runs so its not much of an issue
  14. It was much closer than it was last year. I waited a sec before hitting it to make sure no problem with going early. An early start ment a waiting list when it fills up in like 4 sec
  15. It depends on if the price ends up being the same. A box stock Trojan will cost as much as a decked out spartan
  16. Went the spartan here as the price was right and allowed some money to upgrade the gun how I want it and have new grips magwell solid front sight trigger work etc all for less than a stock Trojan
  17. Glad the timer worked this year. Off to a smooth start already. So is clicking in the first stage of the match? Im sure the fill time this year is measured in seconds not minutes like last year
  18. Go 124 grain for 9 major in a glock. The 147 takes up to much case space and won't have enough gas for the comp
  19. Added entry for Ryan Davis from 74.131.114.125 with verification number 136080900092.92 -- You will receive a Registration Code for the application by email within 24 hours.
