Does it not shoot well or something? I mean if you don't love it enough to take it out and shoot it there must be a reason.
  2. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showuser=7116 I think this his him.

You can use it for IPSC. It is no good for IDPA because of their 4" barrel limit. Nobody make good speed loaders for it anymore, never really have. Safariland used to make comp 1 but not anymore. You could have it cut for moonclips.
  4. Dang homey what the hell happened? Mine is here if you need it buddy.
  5. I never had any problem with titegroup and lead. I use it in 40 and 38 short colt. Yes it smokes but lead bullets smoke thats a fact of life. But it is the lube for the most part not the lead.
  6. Gun company's don't seem to be able to get 45 caliber revolver chambers right. My 25-2's were too big 625-2 were too small. Ruger has been the same way. Anyway, I have a bunch of new auto rim brass and I have played with it for hunting loads and such. There is no advantage to it for the most part. When hunting it makes it easy to just drop out fired cases and replace them. You don't have to go to another moon clip but thats about the size of it. Unique has its issues and it may not be the perfect powder for all uses in the 45 acp/auto rim but it ain't bad. I have burned more of it than anything with bullets from as light as 180gr all the way to 300gr
  7. I agree with the Mike. And I would point you to this article here by my friend John Taffin. http://www.sixguns.com/range/sw6252.htm
  8. My contact (someone who spoke to Taran) says it is indeed at Tarans house and named Rammy. Of course Bigbutt is still a good name and it still could be with Cliff. :-)
  9. Oh hell Mike, I figure we are all terminal anyway and when the biguns go down not too many people bounce. I am more worried about some pimple face TSA agent harassing me more than anything.
  10. Well I am lucky one this one. And this is another reason I am going to shoot it. I have a friend that lives about 15 minutes from the range. So I am going to fly out the day before spend the night at my friends house, probably drink too much expensive Scotch the night before and feel like crap when I get up the next day to shoot. OK not the last part but I am going to fly and spend the night with my friend.
  11. Congratulations pin shooter I will be sending in my check.
  12. Oh wait, this is easy. It is named big butt and is Cliff Walsh has it now.
  13. Reckon I better break out the check book and pay the entry fee. Anybody wanna help me?
  14. Good for you! And GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!! I started when I was 9 or 10 and did it for 18+ years. I hated it the last 3 or 4 years I did it but I still did it. When my wife got pregnant with my son the thought of him doing scared the hell out of me. And how could I tell him not to do it with a dip in my mouth so I stopped. The 25th of next month will make 12 years since I have touched the stuff. You know what, I still want it. I will never use it again but I want one sometimes so bad.
  15. Sounds like you cases are kinda sticking in your chambers not allowing them to move back against the recoil shield keeping the primers in place. I am not real sure about what kind of pressure that load is making it may not be making enough pressure to push the cases back. Have you had the chambers polished?
  16. I have on for my 24. Like the others I have had NO problems with it. With the 40 extractor even. The chamber is TIGHT so you have to be careful with you loads. I used 40 mags until I got 9 mags without to many problems.
  17. Linda and family I am sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers. Though I only meet him once I know the sun will set on a lesser world tonight.
  18. I am sorry to hear this Linda. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
  19. Out of bourbon so I will drink a little cactus juice. Hang tough my friend, it will be worth it. I need to do the same thing if I could figure out what i want to do when I grow up.
  20. YES YES YES!!! It will make a huge difference if you go to a lighter load for steel.
