  1. Looks like a possible christmas gift to me from me. Followed by reloading dies for .45 ACP, brass........Looks like a slippery slope to me. You know what, I think it would be best if you just give me all your revo stuff. You will probably money ahead in the long run. :-) Yes it is a slippery slope. Next will be a 8 shot 357 for steel and ICORE. And moon clips for that. The good thing the north mountian will hold them too. How do I know all this? I have made that slide.
  2. This is when it gets good with scores that close. I watched ya'll shoot the last two stages and you guys looked pretty smooth. I had a very good time shooting with you all in squad 5, I hope to see you guys soon. Greg, Anthony, I had a blast losing to ya!! I don't think that will ever happen again. I am surprised it happened this time. It was great meeting and shooting with you.
  3. I made mine. But it is a copy of a Northmountian.
  4. Back in the early 90's I had one built. Before all the bolt on stuff got to where it is now. Lothar Walter SS fluted barrel, match chamber, Fajen stock, he did the trigger don't remember how much it is now but light. I wish we had mounted the scope on the barrel but we didn't. He bedded the whole length of the barrel. It will do groups under .100 with match ammo all day long. The best being .022 with Eley match. With cheap Federal it will shoot 1/8. I have dumped a truck load of praire dogs with it. Now I have a TacSol that I need to get the trigger done on.
  5. To all the folks on Sqaud 5, thanks for making this such a great match. 12 revolver shooters. WOW! The top 3 finishers were seperated by less than 1/2 of a percentage point. GreggQ 100.000 Me 99.888 Devon 99.57something Match points were just about as close.
  6. I have extras for pretty girls that hand out rice crispy treats. Know anyone like that?
  7. I have shot a nuch of USPSA matches with my 625 and shot a bunch of Texas stars. You just can't miss.
  8. I voted yes for 1 and 2. I would prefer 2 just because I like ICORE so much. BUT I would love to see a stand alone revo nationals. I know there would be other greats show up. I would bet money Robby would be there. He won limited at the IRC a few years back. A bet Taran would be there. And they would be kicking our butts just like they would if we shot slide guns. It would be great to see a revo only BIG USPSA match.
  9. If you only want to get one gun and shoot both ICORE and USPSA, try to find a 5" 625. They are still out there. Or a 25-2. They are better suited to USPSA but will work great for ICORE. OR if your plan is to shoot ICORE more get a 6 shot 686 you can shoot USPSA with it. You can load 38 specials to major or shoot minor until you can afford to pick up a 625. A barrel length of 5" or more will be better for both games. That is one down side to the 627 pro and the 625 JM. If you are determind to get a 627 you can use it for USPSA and load 8 you can only shoot 6. However I would suggest getting one of the PC guns and not the pro. They're 2 different versions of the pro. The one with the flat sided barrel is cut for moons. The one with the plain barrel is not. If you should decide to go with the 686 you can have it cut for moons very cheaply. IF you get a 627 the only moon clips worth spending your money on are Hearthco. Yes they are expensive but worth every penny of it. I didn't want to believe that but I tried them now I am a Hearthco convert. For 627's and 625's the North Mountain moon clip holder is the best thing going right now. They're several good holsters out there, I like the CR Speed. I hope this helps
  10. I won the Sabre Defence AR last year. That was the begining of a long winning streak for me. The AR, a Tactical Solutions custom 10/22, a VERY NICE range bag, and other stuff.
  11. Last year I got lucky in the match and in the prize drawing. Maybe this year I can get lucky int he drawing at least.
  12. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 12 revolvers. That is going to be HUGE!
  13. OH BOY! I reckon I will not be winning back to back.
  14. I have used my model 18 once and plan to use it again I just need to get some more speed loaders to speed up my reloads between strings. I don't think
  15. I am in for single stack this weekend. So the rest of you guys don't have to worry about finishing last. :-)
  16. Single stacks at cool springs this weekend? Hhmm I might could make that. Are you guys really going to do it?
  17. I knew but wasn't gonna tell. Good guess Vrmn! I was told about the silver bullet m-clip at Jr. camp. It looks super cool, good job. Cliff I just finish manufacturing a de-mooner for the Coors caliber, out of sch40 PVC. Anything to help keep you loaded. Well I am not a notorious as Cliff but have drank a few beers in my day.
  18. OK now can you make me one for 6 bottles of Bulleit bourbon?
  19. Any bets on me going sub-minor again next year? Sue all you need is a 165000 grain bullet going 1 foot per sec. Hey Cliff is it a moon clip for a sixpack?
  20. If I can work it out to make the IRC this year what airport should I try to fly in to? I have something else that week before at the Whittington Center. I will be there until that Friday morning. Then I will have to fly out of ABQ. Then most likely back to ABQ before I head home to ATL. Do they have options as to when I can shoot? All day Saturday? Half Saturday half Sunday? I want to try to make it but The earliest I could get to Kalipornia is Friday sometime. I would not really be pressed to leave anytime as I can plan my vacation time to work it out.
  21. Dang and I am going to miss this match again. I am shooting ICORE the day before in Augusta, no way I could do both.
