  1. I have tried them in a couple of different ones. The older LEO only and a brand new one I just pickd up 2 weeks ago. I have not had any problems with them and I am not promising they will work like this for eveyone but they do for me. You still have to put a little pressure on them but nothing like with the factory followers. They advertise them for improved last round feeding. Your mileage may vary but I am pleased with them enough to order a few more.
  2. The only thing really different is your reloads. For that you just have to figure out what works for you. I jusy doodled around with it a little. When you go to do your reload rotate your hands around as one so your right thumb comes over to hit the release. Your left hand is then in perfect position for your figers to push though the cylinder window to open the the cylinder. At this point you are reloading just like most everybody else. Your gun is in your left hand you grab a moon clip with you left hand. Find the video of Jerry doing his 6 reload and 6 more and watch how he does it. Some folks do it differently, Patrick does I know. Now you palm the whole gun in you right hand and let your left hand slide back to the grip and bring you right hand back to your regular support position. Yes it will take some practice. EVERYTHING with revolvers takes more practice and more work. BUT BUT BUT, if you do the work and learn to shoot a revolver well it will make you a better shooter with an auto loader. Good luck and don't give up without trying.
  3. For 40 S&W Arredondo sells replacement followers that allow all 20 rounds to be loaded easily and loaded into the gun without slamming it in. This is only for 40's though.
  4. I have a Lone Wolf in my 24 and love it. It is much more accurate with Atlanta Arms and Ammo 180gr than the factory Glock barrel. I also have a 9mm conversion that works great as well.

    kkm barrel G35

If you're just going to go with a drop in get a Lone Wolf. http://www.lonewolfdist.com/ If you are going get the whole package fitted barrel, slide tightening get the KKM. I have a drop in Lone Wolf, it shoots an inch with jacketed or cast. I have one in my 24 and shoot a lot of cheap swaged lead bullets. It shoots great and I am not getting any leading.
  6. I use a 550 without any problems. BUT if you want to hand prime a RCBS is the best I have found.
  7. 99-23 Front Sight is a good one, easy to set up and close range hoser course. It is a 2 stringer though 99-08 Melody line is one that is easy to set up and you can get a good score on but you have to pay attention to your sights. 03-08 Madness is too bad.
  8. I converted my revolver to hold a 1911 then to Glock 24 and back to revolver. I came sure it can be done you just need to figure out which parts you need. I have never looked at their web site so I don't know what they have to say about it.
  9. I wonder why Jerry don't shoot area 4?
  10. I shot this one a couple of weeks back with a revolver. My total time was 6.25 and had 56 points. My first string I started facing up range with hand up my time was 3.34. My second string was facing down range hands relaxed and my time was 2.91. It was a little local match but we had 28 shooters that night, the only person that beat me was a guy shooting a open gun. According to the calulator it was 74.4469.
  11. I bought some of them, I had a couple that were stamped off center but only a few. I wouldn't do it again, I would buy from ranch or someone else but these have worked fine and will do ok for practice.
  12. I remember, kinda wish I still had that gun but I sold it to you to buy a custom Linebaugh gun so there you go. Yeah this is a nice gun and I got a pretty good deal on it.
  13. Yeah, I just needed a break from the revo. And to show you guys I am not some one trick pony!
  14. I am here and got it with me. :-) I lurk here some but have never posted. It was very nice to meet you as well. I really had a good time this weekend. It was my first big match, I have only been doing this for about 10 months so there was a lot of new stuff for me. I still have a long way to go. It was nice meeting all the revo shooters this weekend. You can call me Tony Mike was it you that traded in a bunch of guns up at the Griffin pawn shop last year? If so was one of them a 4" 629 and was it unfired? I picked one up there last week that I swear was unfired, it ain't that way no mo.:-)
